yes I scalded it before I froze it and it never tasted weird after that

@Mamaof2: did you just put it in a pan to scald? Freeze once room temp?

@winniebee: I used a bottle warmer - added a few ozs of water and put in my bottle - heated to 162 F and then cooled and froze!
