I am a pretty anxious person. So, I'd call.

I lost my mucous plug on Wednesday night in the shower..had bloody show all day Thursday, water broke 4:50, delivered her before 9:30 pm Thursday evening.

I lost my mucus plug about 3 weeks before giving birth, but I did have a bloody show two days before having her. I would just call to be safe!

I lost my mucus plug an hour before my water broke. I'd call.

I lost my mucous plug AT the doctor's office while trying to pee in a cup at 40 weeks. I was so excited and mentioned it to my nurse and OB. Both of them were like..."yea, it's a good sign but it can take up to 2-3 weeks after." I was so disappointed when I heard and I eventually ended up getting induced bc baby girl was comfortable where she was.

I lost mine and was induced 3 weeks later with #1.

I am 36 weeks and have already lost I this time!!!

@ms.janedoe: how are u feeling about the section?

I lost mine a day or two before I went into labor.

I lost pieces of mine the entire 3rd tri with DS and was induced at 41w1d. I have not lost any this time around at 37w.

I'm new to this website but just want to wish you all the best on your C-section! I too have a breech baby. We scheduled a C-section and surprisingly, labor started for me at 5am on the same day. I guess our LO is in control after all. I quickly called my OB and she told me to go to the hospital right away because there was no point for me to be in labor for that long. The hospital was able to move up the operation time 2 hours earlier! So, my little piece of advice - definitely call when your labor starts!

During both pregnancies, I lost my mucus plug and within 24 hours, I was in full labor!
