@mrs. 64: @pui: whoot, triplets! But yes, if my LP lasts that long I'll be thrilled. Last two have been 8 and 7 days long, so I'm doing everything I can to help lengthen it at this point. B-complex, OTC progesterone cream and Planting Seeds herbal supplements from my acupuncturist. I'm new to this whole "my body is actually ovulating" thing, so I'm not sure if the fact that I O'd a few days earlier this cycle will give me a longer LP, or will just result in a short cycle length overall.
Keeping my fingers and toes and legs crossed that we can all hold off AF until at least 10DPO, which would be next Thursday. I think 10DPO is about the minimum needed for successful implantation? Heck, maybe I'll start wearing my hair in braids, to cross even more things for us!

@babybean404: I'm not a scientist or doctor, but I think you should BD today, tomorrow, the next day and how about on Sunday just for fun?
kiwi / 693 posts
@babybean404: I believe FF recommends to BD on O date and O+1. So at least get busy tonight, tomorrow and the next day, in case you actually O tomorrow!

Haha OK!!! The "BD Storm" will continue!!! My husband will be overjoyed...lady parts a little sore but it's nothing compared to delivery, RIGHT?!

@pui: @Sprite: Ugh same problem. I'm typically at a 9, occasionally 10 day LP. I've been on progesterone before and tolerated it very poorly so my Dr wants to do a progesterone test (going tomorrow) before deciding how to proceed. Of course I'm hoping that this is the miracle month and we won't have to go there! Sprite- are the b complex and herbal supplements working? I wanted to get my doctor's 2 cents before trying anything, but I'm curious.

Team, just a quick update - I'm at 15dpo with 15 temps above coverline - no previous history of a LP longer than 14 (and most often it's 12 or 13), so we're thinking this is looking good! Might test tomorrow instead of the originally planned Saturday, but we'll be on retreat without reliable Internet so I might not get to post the outcome for a few days. Hoping we all share BFPs this weekend even if I have to miss the postathon!

@anandam: that sounds awesome! I would have a hard time waiting to test with that chart but I hope you get good news whenever you decide to test. Hoping to hear good news whenever you have a chance to share!

I got my crosshairs today--yay! So I am officially 3 dpo per FF.
I just noticed the tiniest bit of spotting after I peed and sm wondering if anyone else has had this? I never spot between periods and feel fine otherwise but it is just weird. Anyone care to commiserate or make me feel better?
bananas / 9899 posts
Well FF moved my O date back to CD17 due to a temp dip lol, so now I'm back at 6DPO.
nectarine / 2932 posts
@anandam: Sounds promising!! good luck!!
@MamaCate: holla for crosshairs! hope your tww goes well!
@pui: Lol, your ff needs to lay off the sauce.
honeydew / 7463 posts
@pui: Well your BDing still looks great with this O date AND a dip at 6dpo is good FX so hard for you!
kiwi / 619 posts
@pui: Isn't FF so frustrating at times? Yet it's so hard to stay away! Woo hoo for 6 DPO!
@anandam: anxiously awaiting your results
I can't believe I actually made it the whole week without testing. Patting myself on the back right now! I went for a routine blood test on Wednesday to get my thyroid levels tested (I have slight hypothyroidism). My doctor has now called me 3 times, but hasn't left a message (she always calls with the results even if they are normal), however it's strange for her to call 3 times in such a short time span! I'm secretely hoping that for some reason they also tested for pregnancy and that she's calling with good news (very unlikely...but a girl can dream right?) I guess it's more likely that my thyroid is out of whack!

Well so much for my happy theory above...turns out that my TSH levels are high again, so I'm guessing that I'm probably out for this month! But we'll see for sure tomorrow!

@babybean404: it seems really really early, but of course that is where my mind went! Googlinng says it is possible between 3 and 14 dpo i think? It was literally twice last night and now is gone. Trying to relax...
kiwi / 619 posts
@MamaCate: Could be possible! It probably is a bit early, but not impossible (I think). Fingers crossed for you
bananas / 9899 posts
@SweetiePie: I'm a little worried about the dip because it's similar to a dip I got a couple of days before AF last cycle... hopefully my LP holds out longer.

@mrs. 64: Hope your progesterone test goes well! And to answer your question, it's hard to say if the B-complex and herbs are working...I mean, I'm not pregnant yet, so who knows? However, 2 and 3 cycles ago my overall cycle length was 25 days, but last cycle I took B-Complex and it was 29 days. So it seemed like it worked, although it was also my first Clomid cycle, and I O'd on day 21, still giving me too short of an LP, so who really knows, maybe it was the Clomid that lengthened my cycle and not the B-Complex. I feel like B-Complex can't hurt to keep trying in case it is working though, since I'm not taking a very high dose, and anything your body doesn't process just gets pee'd out. This is my first cycle on the herbs, so I can't say if they're working or not. I don't even recognize most of the ingredients in them, but I trust my acupuncturist, since she has a medical degree, and is at the top clinic in our area. Guess only time will tell if anything we try when TTC actually "works"
@anandam: FX so hard for you! I can't believe you haven't tested yet!
@MamaCate: could also be post BD'ing spotting?
@pui: I agree with @Littlebit: your FF is crazy! Yay for an earlier O date though! Will you test earlier than next Saturday now?
@cookie_dough: sorry to hear about your TSH levels But you're still not out until you're out!
bananas / 9899 posts
@Sprite: I think I'll just wait it out to Saturday anyway, unless something changes.
kiwi / 619 posts
@sprite: thanks...ya, now I'm going crazy on googling"does pregnancy increase your TSH"...hoping that my TSH is higher BECAUSE I am pregnant. Grasping on to any little hope hahaha
bananas / 9899 posts
@cookie_dough: I think pregnancy does increase TSH. I have read that women who have thyroid problems often need to get their medication adjusted when they become pregnant.
wonderful clementine / 24134 posts
@pui: I was actually told by my OB yesterday (actually a DO) that TSH can actually artificially lower during pregnancy. Mine is high right now, just over 4, and he said he could retest but it may not really show whats going on. He did say that the T4 (i think) was a better indicator during pregnancy. This is for someone without a diagnosed thyroid problem though. I"m just watching because it runs int he family.
bananas / 9899 posts
@T.H.O.U.: Ah I see. Who knows then? Probably best to get blood tests often during pregnancy if there is any risk of thyroid issues.
kiwi / 619 posts
@Pui: @T.H.O.U: I guess I will just have to wait till tomorrow to find out for sure It's really weird that my levels have gone up, because I had just upped my dose of thyroid meds about a month ago!
cherry / 202 posts
@cookie_dough: I know when my synthroid was increased it took awhile to figure out . I ended up having to only take for 6 days instead of 7 to keep my levels in check. And then when you finally have it perfect , your body goes and changes again !

I don't think I'm going to make it until tomorrow for the POAS fest. I'm 11DPO but still having the brown CM. It hasn't really increased much in quantity/frequency or changed color but I don't think it's a good sign either way. I'm basically biding my time until AF shows up at this point.
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
@LindsayInNY: boo
Who's up to POAS? I've been bad about following this thread.
bananas / 9229 posts
@littlek: I just wish AF would come already since it seems like that's the eventual end result. This in between stuff is frustrating.
apricot / 386 posts
@lindsayinny I'm so sorry. I hated the waiting so much I had to stop charting and stay off this site! I hope you get out of limbo quickly.
bananas / 9899 posts
Getting some really AF-like cramps here guys :\ I really hope my LP isn't going to be only 6-7 days...
bananas / 9229 posts
@babybean404: I don't mind the charting so much. I've definitely thought about taking a HB break but it's hard. I don't have anyone IRL, besides DH, to talk to about all this.
bananas / 9899 posts
@LindsayInNY: I know what you mean... I've considered taking an HB break too, but I think I'd go crazy without anywhere to vent.
bananas / 9229 posts
@pui: I have two friends who have been TTC for a decent amount of time too but they seem a bit more laid back about things. I keep waiting for the tearful breakdown (I mean, aside from my doctor's office...) and it hasn't come. Yet. I think I'm feeling-less at this point. Mostly frustrated, discouraged, mad. Give it until December and things might change...
nectarine / 2134 posts
I'm nervous to POAS tomorrow. First cycle actively TTC after our chemical in July. Nervous, scared, dreading...Just wanted to vent. And please excuse me if I puss out tomorrow. Not sure which is worse, stark BFN or AF... Oh and I've had a really bad cold this week so DH thinks that is going to prevent anything from sticking this month. Haven't felt anything this month (other than cold symptoms) so I'm not going into this week/weekend hopeful. Sorry for the Debbie Downer.
Happy Friday!
But I'm super excited for the other POAS-a-thons this weekend! Can't wait for some BFPs!!
