CONGRATS!! To both of you!
@pui @lindsayinny @littlebit @littlek and everyone else good luck this month!
I am on cycle 2 of ttc (last cycle was the first one off birth control and lasted 40 days). I stopped temping but did get digital OPKs. Got my first smiley face yesterday and another today, I'm guessing I will O tomorrow!
We BD'd Tuesday and today, will BD tomorrow and Friday just to be sure. Fx that this is the month for all of us!
Fertility friend says I am expecting AF after CD 40 again (on 9/20) but I think I will POAS at 10 dpo (9/16).

@babybean404: welcome! I think we will be poas buddies on 9/16 if I can hold out that long. Pretty sure I o'd on Monday and hoping to wait until 14 dpo/when AF is due to avoid disappointment. Hope for lots of baby dust this month!

@mamacate Ahhhh I should probably wait til 9/20 but it already feels so far away and I haven't even O'd yet!
pomegranate / 3595 posts
@babybean404: you do whatever works for you, and if it is to POAS early, you will get lots of support around here. I am hoping to wait because i am on a budget and am trying to be patient...but i agree it feels reaallly far away right now!

@whodat: congratulations!
So excited for the upcoming month! I finally see a light at the end of the tunnel! Saw a fertility specialist this week. I am 9 dpo now and as soon as my next cycle starts I am doing a clomid challenge test! If thats normal, I am having a laporoscopy. I have heard several ladies say they have those and everything is all cleared out and they get pregnant right away! Im pretty excited!
Looking forward to seeing lots of positives for everyone!

@FaithFertility: hanging in here! Hoping I'm rounding the corner of morning sickness, so I can get on with the business of loving being pregnant Thanks for asking!

@pui: Damn you FF!!!! I'm also not sure I believe it, but it's hard to tell. Either way, it looks like you got it all covered with all that BDing you've been doing!!!
bananas / 9899 posts
@Adira: Yeah it's not completely obvious when I O'd this time, but I think we covered all the days pretty well.
Now I don't know when to test lol!
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@pui: I guess I'd see what your temps do, but maybe around 10DPO (based on the current O-day) would be a good start?
bananas / 9899 posts
@Adira: Yeah I guess that makes sense. I think I'll just wait until the weekend in that case. 12DPO, CD31.
@babycanuck: Please change my POAS date to September 14... FF moved my O date.
wonderful clementine / 24134 posts
@pui: I was wondering if maybe your O date was a bit later due to the late positive OPK. Hopefully this means you had great timing!
bananas / 9899 posts
@T.H.O.U.: I went from being rated "good" to being rated "high" by FF so I guess timing improved lol!

For those of you following my other thread, my annual exam and ob/gyn talk last night went well. We're basically giving it until December (the one year mark) before moving onto the next step(s)... I'm sitting here at 10DPO and still noticing some brown CM/discharge. It's not increasing in quantity or frequency though. So, as usual, not feeling optimistic or totally negative right now. Just feeling

@LindsayInNY: Only a couple more days to go until we finally get to POAS! Glad that your appointment went well, and December isn't too far away (as a worst case scenario, hopefully there will be a BFP before then!) I hear ya on the "just feeling" On the one hand, I feel like I have a ton of symptoms (occasional nausea, dizziness, SUPER HUNGRY, a bit of cramping/weird twinges, etc). But on the other hand I just have that feeling that AF is about to show up. However, if I remember correctly, I had that feeling last time I was pregnant as well, but maybe I'm remembering wrong.

@cookie_dough: Hopefully I don't need a December appointment but if so, it helps to know there's a "next step" in sight. I already told my doctor that there is no way I'm going back on BC, LOL! Every time I think I find a symptom, it's nothing. I think that's why I'm in the "just feeling" camp now?
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@LindsayInNY: I didn't know you were "spotting." But don't give up you're optimism. And I seriously love having "next steps" and plans in place. You're in a good spot, lady!
@cookie_dough: come on Saturday! Come quick!!

Yay yay yay! Congrats @whodat and @tarabonno!! I love coming back from vacation to see such good news
I've been pretty MIA around here lately because we've been traveling so much, but I"m so excited for all of the ladies POAS'ing this weekend! I think I might try to hold out until next weekend to POAS, since I think I'm only at 3DPO right now...my temps got kind of messed up from all of the late nights and wine drinking this weekend, but I was able to use OPKs 3x a day to counterbalance the wonky temps.
Good luck y'all!

@MrsMcD: It's more of a brown CM/discharge? I saw it in my underwear but not when I wiped and it's not increasing in quantity or color or anything. My doctor mentioned it during my exam yesterday and I asked if it meant AF was coming and she said it didn't necessarily mean that. I don't know if she's just getting my hopes up or what though.

@Sprite: Looks like we may be POAS twins! I am also 3DPO and I plan on POAS on Saturday the 14th!

Just checking in. I'm CD10 today. Last two months I O'd CD19, and CD16 (CD19 was a 30 day cycle, CD16 was a 28 day cycle). So wondering when I'll O this month...FF is all messed up. I started using OPK strips today, just in case. Will be starting our BD storm tomorrow just in case I ovulate earlier this month.
kiwi / 693 posts
@LindsayInNY: Ugh, spotting is so frustrating! Could your exam yesterday have caused it? Although, I do know there is a "spotting factor" in the FF Pregnancy Monitor section, so maybe it's potentially a good thing?
@pui: Yay, POAS twinner! We will see if I can actually hold out until next Saturday, I may have to do it earlier if my Progesterone test on Monday comes back with good news. Here's to long, implantation-happy LPs for both of us!
@Littlebit: hooray for BD storm! Totally better to be safe and start the storm early!
bananas / 9229 posts
@Sprite: Yes and no. Exam would've caused it but I also get this spotting/discharge pre-AF which makes me think that's the case here (despite doctor saying it's not necessarily the case).
kiwi / 619 posts
@MrsMcD: haha, only 2 more sleeps I bought my tests at lunch...now must resist opening the package before Saturday...
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@cookie_dough: I didn't realize that testing saturday is actually testing a little bit early for both of us. I'm dying having to hold off until then, though!
nectarine / 2936 posts
@pui: @Sprite: POAS triplets! Although, I probably won't make it that long unless my LP is longer than it has been. Hope we all get good news!
bananas / 9899 posts
@mrs. 64: My LP was only 9 days last cycle, so I may be out before the 14th.
apricot / 386 posts
OK y'all, so if I got a positive OPK Tuesday evening and Wednesday evening, a positive OPK this morning, and a negative OPK just now...that means I ovulated sometime today right?
I am thinking we will still BD today just to be safe. How long of a window do you get after ovulation?
