Has anyone ever gotten a positive opk 2 days in a row? This has never happened to me before. I got a positive yesterday afternoon, this morning, and this afternoon. Originally I thought O was today, but now I'm guessing it will be tomorrow. What would you think?

@mrs. 64: Last cycle I had at least 5 positives in a row! I O'd 3 days in to positives.

@mrs. 64: I got two positives in a row this cycle. FF put my O as the day after the second positive. Also based on a temp dip.

@pui: yay!
I had a dream last night I got bloodwork done for something non-pregnancy related but when I got my paperwork back it said I was pregnant! Here's hoping that it's predictive of next weekend!

@pui: Yay! Hoping this is your month
I might actually be in for this month! It looks like AF might come earlier than usual (temp drop today and definite PMS symptoms), so I may chime in for a late Sept POAS date. Good luck to everyone testing in the next couple of days!

I am feeling crampy and bloaty and pessimistic about this cycle, so yesterday I went ahead and bought a BBT thermometer and a pack of OPK tests. Took my temp this morning and it was super low -- bad sign, right?
But on the bright side today is the day AF is supposed to show up and so far so good. No spotting whatsoever. We shall see I guess....

@whodat: "low" is relative... is this the first temp you've taken, or have you been plotting them on a graph for a while? Charting is all about patterns, individual temps can't tell you much.
When abouts are you in your cycle? Pre/Post O?

@mrs. 64: The past two cycles I've gotten positives two days in a row
@pui: Wohoo!!

@pui: This was my first cycle trying, and I have very regular cycles, so I thought I was fine with just going by the date Fertility Friend gave me for ovulation. No temping and no OPK. This morning was the first time I took my temperature, because I was thinking this is Day 1 of Cycle 2 and I want a fresh start, and it was way low on the graph (97.8). O was supposedly 8/20, based on my cycle.

@whodat: So you just got your period? CD1 is the first day of your period.
Even if you have a regular cycle, you could be Oing later or earlier than you think. It's hard to tell without any BBT data.
Since you think O was 8/20, AF may be on her way soon. If that is the case, it makes sense your temp would be low, as it usually lowers before AF makes her appearance.
How long are your cycles normally?

Ive noticed a pattern with my cycles...one month my cycle will be 30 days and the following month will be 28, then back to 30 and 28 & so on....is this normal? Following this usual pattern, this month would be 28 days and I notice that AF doesnt stick around for as long maybe 3 days and then spotting. I dont think ill ever figure this all out!

@Lugrey508: A few days difference between cycles isn't a problem at all. It could be that since the ovaries alternate releasing an egg each cycle, one ovary could be affecting your cycle just slightly differently than the other.

@pui: Just checked out your chart and saw that your were in the TWW (I'm so behind on this thread)! So excited for you this month!!!

@Adira: I'm so thankful I O'd. I was worried there for a while that it wasn't going to happen this time.

@pui: When are you testing?? I really hope this is the cycle for you!!!

@pui: Eeeeh! How awesome would that be if you got a BFP then!!!

Eeek, I'm so behind on this thread! It's going to take me a while to catch up! I'm either 8DPO or 10 DPO (depending on when I actually O'd), and I decided to take my temperature this morning (I don't usually take it after I've O'd). I'm pretty excited by what i see EXCEPT that I know that DD was making noise in her room around 5 a.m. and so I was sort of only half asleep between 5 a.m. and when I decided to take my temp around 6h30. So I'm going to assume that my temp isn't very reliable. I've also been dizzy and nauseous on and off for the last 3 or 4 days. But I was also out of town and not eating the best foods.

Someone please talk me out of POAS this early and wait until AF is MIA (not due until this weekend)!

@cookie_dough: I'm 8DPO and waiting till this weekend so if you need someone to talk you off the POAS ledge, let me know

@cookie_dough: and @LindsayInNY: I'm 7DPO. I think all three of us should test on Saturday.

@Lugrey508: haha, bad influence
@LindsayInNY: @MrsMcD : I think I can make it till Saturday! I will use all the willpower I can muster. I was going to buy some tests tonight, but I will wait. If I don't have them in the house, I can't test!
bananas / 9229 posts
@cookie_dough: @MrsMcD: I don't like testing during the weekdays so I've lucked out that my POAS tends to fall on/around the weekend. I don't want to be upset or (eventually) excited and then have to go to work!

@NorCalWayfarer: Yes, please please join us! This will be an exciting weekend. Hopefully a happy weekend. I promise to be happy for all of you gals even if I am sad for myself.

@MrsMcD: I will definitely be overjoyed for anyone who gets a bfp chances are one of us will I'm sure! And if mine is a bfn, wine here I come!

@cookie_dough: Are you holding off on the boozing during your TWW? I have not. I am thinking about not drinking this week, though, leading up to the POAS. That might be tough for me. I'm a nightly wine kind of girl. I also have a nice bottle of champagne gifted to DH last weekend that I am dying to drink.

Excited for you ladies!! Will definitely be checking in over the weekend to see those BFPs!

@MrsMcD: @cookie_dough: I drink during week 1 of the TWW but generally abstain during week 2. Glutton for punishment, I suppose...
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@LindsayInNY: Okay. You convinced me. I will refrain for this whole week. WHOLE week. I wish you were my neighbor so that we could share the champagne next week if we are put in that situation.
bananas / 9229 posts
@MrsMcD: Oh man, you and me both. I will definitely be needing something at the end of this week! I'm so indifferent at this point =/
kiwi / 619 posts
@MrsMcD: not holding off...but only drinking on special occasions (last 2ww was my sister's wedding and went to a cottage over the weekend during this one) . I'm not a nightly wine drinker but I'm a "drink till it's pink in moderation " kinda girl

@pui: Yay for the TWW! FX for you!
@cookie_dough: @MrsMcD: @NorCalWayfarer: @LindsayInNY: Saturday will be here before you know it! FX ladies!
@pui: @LindsayInNY: Yeah, I'm thinking it was the latter of the 2 and I will get a temp spike tomorrow.
