@LindsayInNY: HAHAHA, ok, more like, "I think I'll want some time to freak out and re-test multiple times to make sure it's real" LOL. I actually work from home, so at least I won't have to worry about co-workers wondering why I'm acting crazy.

@Sprite: I thought so too but then I brought DH a squinter to see if he saw anything... When I tested a couple of hours later, I was trying to stall so he wouldn't wonder why I was hanging out in the bathroom. He ended up going in there anyways and turned the light off! When I asked, he said he didn't know what any of the tests meant anyways, LOL. I always tested on the weekend so I wouldn't have any mid-work day freakouts.

@Sprite: Sounds like my sore nipples. I have had them since 2DPO and they won't go away! I hope it's a good sign!! FX for you!

So I'm 90% sure I'm ovulating today (the same as last cycle - CD16). I won't be able to BD today...can you guys look at my chart? Does my BD look ok considering I won't be able to today??

@Littlebit: If you got a positive OPK today, I would think you would be Oing tomorrow, CD17. Does that make a difference with the BDing?

  6. Littlebit

    nectarine / 2932 posts

@LindsayInNY: I got a positive OPK yesterday first. The last 3 months I've always gotten two days of positives with O falling on the 2nd day??

  7. LindsayInNY

    bananas / 9229 posts

@Littlebit: I think it depends on your temp tomorrow morning (and beyond). I had two in a row this cycle and a temp dip the day after the 2nd. Can you BD tomorrow?

  8. Littlebit

    nectarine / 2932 posts

@LindsayInNY: Possibly! But it might not be until tomorrow night. Thank you for looking!

@Littlebit: I would BD Thursday and Friday in a row, just in case!

@LindseyinNY: Seriously so happy for you!!! Did I say that already? I can't keep track of this thread it moves so fast sometimes

@FaithFertility: Sticky, doubling, beta multiplying thoughts for you.

I just got a positive OPK tonight which I wasn't expecting since I'm taking a clomid time out and it's a couple days earlier than it has been over the past few months. The good news is FI has the next 2 days off which means prime BD time

ETA: Congrats to all the BFPs this month!

    Hi guys,

Just checking in after a few weeks absence - just started a new job and it's keeping me occupied!

Congrats to all the BFP's - I love coming back to this thread and reading all the great news!

Currently 4/5 DPO (going on CP & CM only). Having some trouble where I am living in the Middle East finding a BBT, OPK sticks and even fertility friendly lube - DH and I resorted to Canola Oil at the latter end of this fertile week, as I am scared the regular, non spermicide lube may be inhibiting things!

Anyway, will check back in again in a few days! Best of luck to all!!

I just got a new highest temp ever!! It was so hard not to POAS this morning, but I'm going to stick to Saturday (sorry lol)!

@AlmostMrsG: What CD are you on and when did you take the pills? Clomid gave me some false positive OPKs last cycle, so just be careful and do your best to get BD in as much as you can!

@pui: Jeez girl, I'm so impressed with your willpower!!

Still high temps today at 9 dpo, which is encouraging because I usually have a 9 day lp and typically dip way low on day 9. I've also had mild cramps the yesterday and today and I usually don't get them until after AF has arrived.

  17. pui

    bananas / 9899 posts

@mrs. 64: My only recorded LP was just 9 days too, so at least it's looking like our LPs lengthened!

  18. tarabonno

@pui Yay!! I had a triphasic chart the month of my BFP!

@pui: OMG, I can't believe you're holding out until Saturday! I just looked at your chart and saw your temp has shot up! You'd better not sleep in on Saturday!!!

  21. tarabonno

@pui Not yet, but a highest temp yet was my first clue it might be!

  22. Littlebit

    nectarine / 2932 posts

@LindsayInNY: @tarabonno: Looks like you ladies were right! No temp jump today, so I'm assuming today is O day. Gonna try to BD tonight again!

@pui: Your will power in inspiring, girl!

@mrs. 64: good news! Hope this is your month!

@pui: so hopeful for you this month! Hope your Saturday POAS is with the wait!

As for me, I am currently 10 dpo and temps are still high. I am trying to be patient but have noticed a little stronger reaction to smells. I am telling myself if could be from being less congested but also hoping it is a good sign.

I was thinking about testing Monday morning but now I have to testify for work that morning so I think I will wait until that night or the next morning.

@pui: Test!!!! But I totally understand waiting. you get prettier lines when you wait hopeful for you!

@pui: The suspense is killing me! I don't know how you do it! Can it pleeeease be Saturday already?!

On another note, I think DH and I will be on vacation around O time for me. So if Dr. gives me the OK we can have lots of relaxed and fun BD time

  26. Littlebit

    nectarine / 2932 posts

Grrrr. I'm bummed. I was expecting to O yesterday, but I didn't have a temp jump so I'm guessing it'll happen today? We weren't able to BD last night because DH was out of town so we were going to try again tonight, but he just called and apparently has to stay out of town another night and we won't be able to get another round in. I had such a good feeling about this month but now I feel like our previous BDing will be too late I want to look over charts that got BFP's with the same days of BDing as us to make me feel better, but I don't have the VIP version of FF anymore.

    http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/Littlebit

Today is just bumming me out!! I'm trying to tell myself it's out of my hands, and if it's meant to happen this month then it will.

    pomelo / 5228 posts

@Littlebit: I think there is a good chance you O'd this morning, before your OPK, since it was negative. And if that is so, your BDing was great. The best days are O-1 and O-2.

  28. CakeLady

@littlebit: I saw this graph posted by @citymouse in the SMEP thread. It made me feel a little better about my BD timing this month. According to the data, the highest probability for BFP is if you BD on day O-2. So if you O today you still a really good chance! Don't give up yet!

  29. pui

    bananas / 9899 posts

@CakeLady: I love that graph! I was stressing out about missing O day this cycle, but according to this I had basically perfect timing by BDing on O-4, O-2 and O-1.

    nectarine / 2932 posts

@CakeLady: @Mrs.Someone: thanks ladies! You're making me feel better!!

This is crazy, but FF just gave me a free 5 day VIP membership? Something about a friend giving it to me?? I didn't know that was something that could happen, but thank you to whoever did!! It let me search similar BDing patterns :):):)

  31. Mrs.Someone

    pomelo / 5228 posts

@Littlebit: Not sure it was a friend, FF seems to add VIP randomly. Try not to read too much into "pregnancy points", they don't really mean anything...

@pui: I'm on CD 14 but I didn't take clomid this cycle, which is why I'm surprised I got a positive opk.

P.S. FX, FX, FX!!! I can't wait until you test on Saturday!!!

  35. pui

    bananas / 9899 posts

@AlmostMrsG: Well yay! Get some BD in then!!!

  36. mrs. 64

    nectarine / 2936 posts

@MamaCate: Thanks! FX for you too! I think it's a good idea to not test right before testifying, regardless of the outcome!

@Littlebit: Don't panic. You still have a very good shot!

    @AlmostMrsG: Time for BD storm!

@pui: Yes, happy that the LP is longer. I have felt crampy now for 2 full days which is unheard of for me. Even when I get AF I have cramps for like 6 hours max and that is once it has started. I don't know what it means. I keep going back and forth from accepting that this is not the month and 100% sure I'm knocked up. Gah!

  37. AlmostMrsG

I O again this weekend and even though I know this won't be my month I've been gently nudging DH towards a BD fest lol

    Keep the BD going, ladies!

    Good luck tomorrow, @FaithFertility!
@Pui - I'm DYING for you to POAS already lol I don't know if I'm more anxious about your POAS or my blood results!! How long ago did you get diagnosed and start on meds??

  40. pui

    bananas / 9899 posts

@babycanuck: I was diagnosed June 6th (after having blood drawn a week earlier) and I was started on 100mcg Synthroid immediately (My TSH was 12.44). I went for another blood test July 19th and my levels had lowered in to the normal range (TSH was 1.5). It didn't take long to level out at all after starting Synthroid. Unfortunately it doesn't look like Hypothyroidism was the cause of my lack of O.
