@kentuckygirl: Congratulations!!!! That is great news
@orvis18: I sometimes have panicked thoughts of how I will handle another baby with a toddler, too. Still fighting off the urge to poas so nothing confirmed for me, yet.

You guys all have the same pee sticks LOL! Is there consensus that FRERs are the best? I have a wondfo stash, but should I go out and get the FRER?
pear / 1786 posts
@MsBadger: I used to love Wondfo's for being so inexpensive. Then my most recent batch had bad evap lines, so I threw them away. This morning the digital still said Not Pregnant. Since my line is so faint, I am not worried, but I do believe that FRER are the best at detecting low levels of HCG.

@MsBadger: I use both! I use the wondfo's more, because they're cheaper. But if I could afford to, I'd use just FRER's...they seem like the best!
persimmon / 1388 posts
@MsBadger: FRERs detect lower levels of HCG (meaning, you may get a BFP earlier than if you tested with a different brand), which is why they are so loved by many I only would buy a FRER if I saw a maybe-positive on a Wondfo (I have a crap-ton of Wondfos). FRERs are too much $$!

@MsBadger: Ditto what @doxielove: said! I only use FRER to "confirm" if I have any hint of a line on a wondfo. Then I don't feel as bad POASing with the cheapies.

I've had a weird last couple days. Saturday (9dpo) I felt hungover all day. Just out of sorts. I only had one glass of wine at a wedding Friday, so I KNOW I wasn't hungover. Had a slight temp drop. Sunday (10dpo) I had a temp increase and had very minor cramping off and on. BFN when I tested. Thought AF may be coming early.
My LP is normally only 11 days long, I usually get AF the morning of 12dpo. By 11dpo my temp is already usually dropping. But my temp went up again this morning! I'm trying to not get too excited...If I don't have AF or a temp drop tomorrow morning at 12dpo I'll use a FRER! I used Wondfo's the past two days and nothing.
I think I'm just amping myself up because normally by this point AF is already on her way. I'm just happy that I may still be in the game! And who knows, I may have another temp drop and AF greeting me in the am? Just talking out loud here
ETA: here's my chart in case anyone feels like looking:

@Littlebit: Your chart is still looking promising! I think tomorrow you'll have a clear answer of what direction this cycle is going in - I'll keep my FX for high temps tomorrow

@Littlebit: Eeeek! SO exciting! I will say that BOTH times I got my BFP I felt hung over...like you said. That was the one symptom both times that I could really put my finger on as a pregnancy symptom! Plus your chart is looking awesome!
bananas / 9229 posts
@Littlebit: I don't know if this is similar to the hungover feeling but my one BFP came a day after I woke up sick. Literally felt like garbage - sore throat, sneezing, you name it!

@LindsayInNY: YES...my second one was that way too. I thought for sure I was coming down with a cold!

@Orvis18: I totally understand how you feel. I am kind of ambivalent about trying in January for that same reason. Just keep in mind that you have some time to prepare still. 9 months and hopefully it will be a fairly smooth pregnancy. Charlie will be an awesome big bro and you will totally make it all work.

Has anyone had wonky readings from the Clearblue Fertility Monitor? According to my monitor I have been "high" since CD 5. I'm now at CD14 and still "high" with no "peak" rating. DH and I have BD every other day since CD 5, I was wanting to stop when we reach "peak" because we are trying for a girl, but we may just keep BDing until I either have AF or BFP. I'm sure DH will be really sad. My cycle varies between 24 - 28 days. Maybe I'm ovulating late? Which is weird because I have felt a lot of cramps lately, so I thought for sure I was ovulating. Maybe because this is my first time using monitor in awhile, it's just not in tune with my body.. weird...

Hello. This is my first post, although I have been following along with the POAS threads for many months as my husband and I have been TTC. We just got a BFP and so I've decided to officially join the boards.
I am so excited, but also totally nervous about miscarrying. We've been trying so long that it doesn't really seem possible for us to be pregnant. We have had only one other success exactly a year ago that ended in an early miscarriage at about 5.5 weeks. Needless to say, I am super paranoid about every cramp and have been checking for blood multiple times a day and have almost used up my wondfo stash by continuously checking to make sure the 2nd line hasn't gone away. Anyway, I am glad to be here and hope my crazy subsides soon.
