To give you a point of reference, most day care centers offer a sibling discount (usually 10% or 15% off the tuition of the older child). Day care centers typically charge more for infants (lower child to teacher ratio than older kids), so as your child moves classrooms, there are more kids in the class, but tuition is cheaper.

Maybe you call a few day care centers in your area to understand how much they charge for tuition and what type of discounts they give when there is more than one child.

I send my kids to a day care center, and I get a $10/month discount which is roughly a 5% discount, so it's really not much at all!

I think our daycare gave a 10% discount for the second child. In your case, you could just charge $20/day for #2; I think that would be more than fair.

The in home daycare providers we've met with didn't have a sibling discount set, although some were open to the idea of 10% off. In-home providers tend to be cheaper than daycares in general so I could understand not offering a discount.
