Did you use one? By phone or in person? Did it help? Do you have one you'd recommend? We are losing our minds with lack of sleep and since LO just finally got tubes, and won't have a perma-infection, we feel ready to start tackling this problem.

We did a phone consult through isis and it was totally worth it. Maybe we could have gotten the same info from a book but this was personalized! We filled out a questionnaire prior to the phone call. We have also been able to email her with follow up questions. We were at the end of our ropes, it took hours to get our LO down and she would wake up several times a night. The first night after the consult bedtime took 5 minutes!! Check out the isis webpage, they also have free webinars. My husband and i both agree the sleep consult was the best thing we have done!

JoJo did....pretty sure it was Isis sleep consultants. Try their web seminars first.

I read the Troublesome Tots website and once we decided to do CIO it was soooooo easy and effective. She was sleeping close to 12 hours w/o wake ups within 2 days!!! And the previous week her teething was so bad we were co-sleeping and she was waking up every 20 minutes. Very highly recommended!! I just feel bad we didn't do it earlier.

I'm sorry you're having sleep troubles.
I've heard good things about familysleep.com and I think it's relatively inexpensive.
I know some people on here would recommend momsoncall but I personally think they're full of crap .
My personal go-to is the Teaching your Baby and Toddler to Sleep forum on babycenter.com. It is seriously a wealth of information and if you start a thread, lots of super knowledgeable moms can help you out.

@brady80: @Smurfette: Isis-- yeah I saw them. I might try to convince DH to do this.
@brady80: How old was your LO at that point?
@sheskrafty: I've read it too and that is what convinced me to move forward but I think we might do better with someone being specific to us. Lots of good info on there though.
@Sammyfab: Thanks I will look into it!
