Hi, just seeing this now.
I also was a slow responder (after responding very well 3+years before). Ultimately it took me 3 rounds to end up with a normal embryo (but I have underlying chromosomal issues).
I also was on the fence at every ultrasound. My doc said we might end up canceling the first two rounds but we never did. We went through with retrieval and it wasn’t ever great but better than expected. They only ever saw like 3 or so follicles and they ended up getting 8 and 6 respectively.
My doc did start suggesting donor eggs (again a big part of that is my chromosomal issue) but I wanted todo one more round.

My third and final cycle I finally started responding well after estrogen priming. It was just what my body needed I guess. They ended up retrieving 17 eggs! Which was more than my first round that resulted in my son 3 years prior.
I’m now almost 22 weeks pregnant and by some miracle have one normal embryo frozen as well.

I guess all this is just to say that sometimes they need to tinker with the meds a bit to get it just right. It’s a lot of trial and error, unfortunately.

As for AMH, a little above 2 doesn’t sound bad to me at all. I think above 2 is still normal isn’t it? Am I making that up? Haha. I was at .495 a year ago and I still ended up conceiving so I wouldn’t put too much stock in that number.
