Not gonna lie, I have some total ring envy. I love my ring. It has a ton of sentimental value-it's an heirloom pearl ring that my surrogate mother gave to DH to give to me when he asked for her blessing. It had been in her family for over a century, and she gave him the set that went with it--earrings and a necklace--that I wore on my wedding day.
But it's a delicate setting, and I'm so nervous about knocking the pearl out that I haven't worn it since our wedding! I just wear my band (plain yellow gold, matches DH's).
Seeing all these gorgeous rings make me wish I had some sparkle!

my engagement ring was my grandmothers - my grandfather proposed to her before he went into the marines. when she passed away my grandfather gave the ring to me.

@autumnlove: girl fat fingers get fat rocks lol. My man hands would look silly with anything smaller I think. I actually wanted like a half inch wide band with a diamond in the middle to cover more of my finger but I resisted. I'm jealous of all these cute dainty hands!

I rarely wear my engagement ring, as it's too big for me, but here is my anniversary band and wedding band. DH gave me the anniversary band for our five-year anniversary last year, and I LOVE it!
