@Smurfette: I KNOW!!!!! I had in a vase with water and at the end of the night, when I went to retrieve it, it was missing. WTF people!!! I wasn't planning on preserving it, but I absolutely loved it. Sorry to hear your grandma took it apart. Have you thought about what to do with it now?

@Alivoo01: The only thing I can think of is to have my Dad build a shadow type box, maybe put my garter (from my grandma's dress), invitation, and some of the flowers in that. I just haven't found one that I like yet. I guess I need to do go over to their house and play with it. After almost two years, I just got our wedding album made and ordered. So who knows when I get to the flowers.

Here's my DIY affair - we grew all the flowers minus the roses. I loved the colors and was happy with it considering I put it together in my pajamas the morning of the wedding. Ignore the goofy pic of me - the photographer was DIY, too

I made my bouquet myself! I actually sat watching How To videos on YouTube on my wedding day because of it!
In has flowers I picked from my garden and around the neighborhood and store bought flowers mixed with a few flowers I took from a bouquet DH gave for our engagement anniversary just a few days before.
Flowering kale (cabbage), hypericum berries, snowberries (picked alongside a small walking trail in the neighborhood), astrantias, mums, and honeysuckle.
DH's boutonnière made from leftover flowers.

@lolabee: I don't want to take the credit for making it. I found it on Etsy since I'm not that crafty. Thank you though! : )
