I'll jump in here, too! I'm a HB newbie.
Cycle Day: 19
TTC Cycle #: 1
Ovulation and POAS dates:5/28 ovulation and 6/11 POAS though if temptation strikes I might test sooner!
Baby #:1
Your plan this month: Trying to be laid-back about it (which doesn't come naturally to me). Continuing to work out, eat healthy, and take vitamins. Here's hoping!
Wishing everyone the best.

@jh524: Thanks for the positive energy...I hope you are right!
@reverie: I would pay a lot for it right about now!
@littlevillage: Welcome!

When you talk about testing early at around 8-10 DPO...does that have to be with the "expensive" tests? Or will the cheapos work too? I have some of the cheapos but it says it won't work until day of missed period, and the pricier one says up to 5 days before...

@TrailRunner: I was cramping around 8/9dpo when pregnant with DD. Thinking I am out this month because I'm not having that - and am having sore boobs and other normal AF symptoms.
Kind of a bummer because if I'm out this month, we have to skip next month bc of DH travel.

I swear every little thing I feel either makes me think "I'm def KU'd" OR "I'm def NOT ku'd"..... every little flutter/cramp/pinch.... I'm totally being hypersensitive.

I know it is super early to test, but I just got a BFN at 7dpo. It kind of brought me back to reality, that I really have very slim odds of actually conceiving this cycle.

@NeonPink1234: congrats!!!!! Woohoo!
@reverie: my last pregnancy, I got a negative 10dpo up until a positive at 14 dpo.

@reverie: don't count yourself out! Sending wishes your way that you are the next BFP

@TrailRunner: @jh524: Thanks guys... I know I'm not 100% out, but I kind of had an attitude that I was 100% in which is dangerous too! Seeing the BFN was sobering that there's no saying either way for a few more days and I need to calm down about it!

Thanks everyone for the congratulations! But it looks like I'm going to be rolling over this month. The top is 10 dpo and the bottom is today at 11 dpo.

So I took another. Why buy expensive things if you can't pee on them. After 3 minutes it was this.

@NeonPink1234: just popping in to say that with my son I had the same thing happen. The second day, 11dpo, I took another test and it looked lighter and I freaked out but went back a little later and it was darker. This last test pic looks really good for 11dpo and I think you are fine. They take a bit to fully develop.

@neopink1234: I think your later tests are promising! Maybe the other test was a dud or you just had too much water?
pear / 1632 posts
Whoa you'd think with their spendy little price tags these tests wouldn't error like that! I would call that a dud considering your follow up positive tests!! Your totally KU I'm tempted to test! Bought a 3 pack FRER and waiting..... Eek!!!!

@Dr. Pepper: we're very close in dates I'm so tempted to test!!! Are you waiting or testing early tomorrow? Yay.

@jh524: we are heading 5 hours away from home right now because my son is having surgery tomorrow. So I have a great distraction. I didn't bring any tests and we won't be back until late Saturday. So the earliest I'll test is Sunday morning.

@jh524: good luck with testing !
@Dr. Pepper: I hope your son's surgery goes well! Update if you don't mind sharing.

@travellingbee: thank you! I know people who's test have gotten lighter and lighter and it didn't end well but I'm glad to know people have had experiences with lighter and darker and the darkness doesn't really mean much. Thank you for that!

I'm not exactly sure of my O date, but I got my positive opk last Monday, so I am assuming it was last tues/wed. That puts me like 8-9 dpo. Tested this morning and negative and I'm having all the symptoms of AF coming. I started having major cramps over the weekend and now it's just a dull ache in my back which is exactly how I feel when I get my period...it just hasn't shown up yet. I have never had symptoms for this long before AF tho, so I'm feeling confused with my body right now.

@TrailRunner: I also tested this morning and got a negative but I think I'm only 9 dpo so I'll wait until Monday if i can wait that long last time I didn't get a positive until 14dpo so I'll have to be patient. Well i have been cramping since I ovulated and I can just feel that I'm KU so cramping earlier than usual is a good sign !!
I'm so nauseous, dizzy & thirsty already!! But this is exactly to the T what happened last time I was preggo good luck!!!!!!

@jh524: Ahhh I'm so excited for you! 9 dpo is super early - and if you wait you'll be less likely to be in a weird limbo like me. But I totally don't want to wait until Monday to see whether you are KU!

@jh524: I'm with @NeonPink1234: I need you to test sooner than Monday!! Your symptoms sound soooo positive! (Pun intended )
