Does your day care do anything special for summer?
R's new place does! Had a magician yesterday, water play every Friday, Ice Cream Truck every other Friday (we have to send money), bouncy house, picnic snack days, other kids bring their tricycles/bikes to rice, etc. Then they are doing theme days: baseball, World Cup, Green/World, etc

Yes - its awesome - same stuff as yours - everything is included but we did pay a "summer program fee"
Kids under 4 have water play 2x a week and do a special activity
Kids over 4 have 1 field trip a week and swim lessons 2x a week!

Ours has special weekly themes (a bit less curriculum based) and Friday water day!
This week was camping week, next week is "Candyland".

They do several summery things, but specifically, they visit the water park (there at the center) twice a week!

Our daycare has a water park. We are keeping him at this daycare through summer just because of the water park.

Water play and I think they show a movie at their end of summer party.
