After 3.5 months!

With my first it was around 3 months when things were more calm. With my second, it was within a couple of weeks b/c BF'ing was easier second time around. I love it and, yes, love that there's food everywhere we go w/o the weight of carrying bottles and formula. The hard part is always having him with me but I don't mind at all now, especially now that he eats between 3-4 hours now. Makes going out to run errands kid free easier. And it helps my husband learn how to care for two kids when I'm out for a couple of hours.

About 10 weeks in, once it was totally pain free and we had found a bit of a rhythm

@Shimmer: a good friend of mine breastfed twins for 12 months. She suffered through many rough months before they finally got in a good routine. I was so impressed she nursed 2 for so long!! You can do it. As you can tell... it gets easier with time.

5-6 months I started to enjoy it.

At 8 weeks we started to figure it out, and it wasn't too bad.

It took him getting the head and neck control to start sitting up, that made things much easier and I can lay down and feed him, which makes it fairly enjoyable now.

With my first I never had any issues and loved it from day one, lo #2 was super impatient and had a terrible latch for the first week so once it stopped hurting at around 2 weeks I started to love it

@pelikila: it's really a huge adjustment to breastfeed (body AND mind) so many times I wished I could give her a bottle but since we've gotten use to it, I think it's easier than making a bottle or pumping.

8-9 weeks I'm so in agreement with pps love when she started looking up and smiling

Around the 8 week mark is when it clicked

We're at 3 months and I'm starting to love it more -- it fiiiiinnnaalllyyy doesn't hurt as much! Yay! He still takes forever to feed though (40mins) and then a bottle of formula supplement right after (10mins).
