When my baby was 3 weeks old, she started spitting up a lot. About the same as you're describing, sometimes more (up to 5 times after a feed) and it always looked like a lot to me. My midwife said she was a "happy spitter", and "some babies just spit up" so I let it be. I brought it back up at her 6 week appointment and got the same answer. It was really bothering me because I didn't think she was all that "happy". At 10 weeks, she was screaming in her sleep. Screaming after feeds. Arching her back and not taking in much at all. She was miserable. We went to the doctor and she'd only gained 5oz in 3 weeks. They diagnosed reflux and gave her a Rx for Zantac. She's 6 months now and she still spits up, but not as much and it doesn't bother her any more.

All that to say... follow your gut. If it feels like something isn't right, keep on top of it. some babies really do just spit up and go on their merry way. Others don't.
