Trying on The Incredible sports bra at VS but it has underwire. I won't wear it unless I am exercising, but isn't underwire a no-no? I got mastitis with a more compressing sports bra and need a new one. Help!

I used the Juno by Moving Comfort from zappos. It's not cheap - I think $50-60 but it provides the support, is comfortable, and has adjustable straps that make it easy to take off to nurse. It does not have an underwire.

After my first few weeks pp I wore exclusively underwire sports and regular bras. Still nursing 2.5 years later and never have had any issues. I love the incredible bra at vs!

Yep, it's not a problem. I started playing soccer at 10 weeks PP and wear an underwire sports bra. No issues.

I think it depends on the person. I wore underwire once at 14 months PP and still managed to get a plugged duct that took me days to get rid of.

No wire!!! Just snip a small hole and pull out the wire.

I'm almost 17 months PP and still have to be really careful of what I wear. The other day I wore a regular, non-nursing bra (no underwire) and still felt tender and clogged when I got home after a couple hours. I'm extremely prone to clogged ducts and blebs, though.

@autumnleaves: I basically paid that for the VS bra so I am willing to splurge on one good bra if it keeps me from getting another infection!
Does the Juno tend to run TTS? @twodoghouse: Yeah, I have had my fair share of clogs and infections and its only been 3 months! I'd like to try running or some higher impact videos but my nursing bras (Bravato seamless silk) will not work for that type of thing. The Incredible from VS has cushioned underwire and it's pretty adjustable... I bought it but wanted to do some more research before deciding to keep it.
