I am on my 2nd cycle off birth control. My first cycle was 51 days long. I had no spotting at all until I had my period (which was fairly light).
My period lasted 4 days. Now I've had spotting on CD 10, Cd 18, and CD 21 (today). Not heavy and not bright red, either. Brown before and today kind of pink. Just enough to maybe need a pantyliner.
I'm not so worried about it... I figure my cycles are just still getting regulated after being on BC so long.
Anyone else have this? Seems kind of weird.

I would give it a few months before worrying too much.
Not BC related, but after my MC, I had a couple regular cycles then one that I bled the whole way through. My dr. suggested waiting a month and seeing what happened. He figured my hormones could be out of whack and sorting themselves out.
Sure enough, they sorted themselves out. I think any major change can cause mid cycle spotting.

I spot mid-cycle (in the week or so before ovulation), usually after working out. I think it's fairly common, and not necessarily a cause for concern.

@mrsads I had the same thing on my second and thurs cycle off the pill with cd10 spotting. When I asked my dr about it she wasn't worried and said it's common when women come off the pill for that to happen.
