F is 10 months and has been exclusively breastfeed. I credit this 100% to being able to stay home with him since June & only needing to pump 2 days a week. But I go back to work in 3 weeks and thus go back to pumping.

Beyond mentally not being prepared, I'm not sure my body (or daily schedule) can physically produce enough milk to get us to a year (7 weeks after I start work). I'm going to try and know I can get some breastmilk, but what if I can't make enough? I don't have a freezer stash.

Do I supplement with formula at 10.5 months? (That seems so late to add formula.) Supplement with whole milk? (That seems so early.) Give what I get and make up the difference at night? (My pediatrician said that's okay, but it sounds like a form of torture that should be illegal.)
