I know there have been a few board posts about this, and I've reviewed them all, but thought maybe there'd be new suggestions out there now, ha ha. D's 2 bottom teeth broke through a couple of weeks ago, and ever since (yes, AFTER the teeth broke through), he's started biting me while nursing. The past few days, it's been nearly every nursing session. Yesterday, he bit down and then pulled off, leaving me with a laceration on my nipple - YEOW! I tried pushing him into my boob, but I think that scares him and he just bites harder. I am afraid to pull him off because he sort of clamps down. And I tried sticking my finger in his mouth to break the latch but then he just chomps on my finger....with my nipple still in his mouth!

I am starting to dread nursing, and it was always my favorite time of the day! Hubs suggested maybe I need to stop nursing and just EP and bottle feed, and I started to cry! I am really not ready to give up breastfeeding, and I know that D isn't, either. How do I get him to stop biting me??? HELP!!!
