i love these blogs and posts....im starting IUI in January and have been on 150mg of clomid for 2 cycles with no success and have been on clomid and serophene for the last 5 cycles previous to the last 2 ....ive had a laproscopy done and im a smoker...im trying my best to cut down in an attempt to help with getting pregnant...my mom also had a hard time with pregnancy so im hoping IUI will get us pregnant...im goin to try a different prenatal pill and see if that helps as well.

@snowjewelz: I got PG my first two IUIs but they ended quickly in CPs but that was caused my something else!

Unfortunately, my 6 IUIs didn't work. First 3 at one clinic with an unknown diagnosis and then I switched clinics and was diagnosed with PCOS and DOR I did another 3 IUIs and they all failed, too. IVF worked for us, though. Now I have my two bundles of joy.
I do remember being completely devastated every time an IUI failed.

one question for anyone to answer....when you do IVF do they HAVE to remove your tubes?...i was told by a DR they have to remove them for IVF?!?!?....im only 28 i dont think i could do that specially with no children

@KCCC4LIFE: They don't remove your tube for IVF, they only remove the eggs. Your tubes stay intact.

I got pregnant on the first IUI cycle with both kids. My doctor had me on Letrozole - he did not like Clomid.
