I only get auction on one side, no air comes out the other side. I had a milk-spraying incident into the tubing a while ago and I'm wondering if the pump busted!

Check the membrane and the tubing. I don't think you can loose suction on one side only!

Oh wait... Maybe it's just clogged there in the entry? I got milk in the tubing once and nothing happened.

Yea that is odd that you are not getting suction on just one side. If needed call Medela. They are great at just trouble shooting but will replace it if needed.
Also, try pumping while plugged in. Sometimes the batteries just aren't as strong.

It's driving me crazy and I can't figure it out. Checked membrane and all tubing, it is something with the right side of the pump. @sloaneandpuffy the milk got sucked into the pump, it all happened so fast! Did yours to all the way in the tubing?
@historyofus I think it's weird too. Will give Medela a call. 95% of time pump with plug but have pumped with battery since. Good idea though! -
@matador84: it went quite a ways up the tubing but I don't know if it made it into the actual machine. I guess not, or not too much, since it still works! I agree to call - the medela people are pretty cool.

@matador84: try taking the face plate off of the actual pump and cleaning that off and cleaning the entry hole. Im guessing its clogged right there on the inside. A lot of times, taking that faceplate off helps.
Also, if youve already done that, take it off and snap it back on again and make sure all of the contact points are properly snapped in, If one is loose or not snapped, it affects the suction.
