LO is 10 weeks and I have been ebfing but pumping since I went back to work two weeks ago. I think I'm going o have to start supplementing since he acts so hungry all the time and takes at least 4 oz per feeding at daycare. I was just looking on amazon and am flipping at how much formula costs!! What is a good kind to get and how long does it last?

We use similac advance and we buy it at Costco. We found that it is the cheapest price around! We EFF so DD goes through one a week. I'd just buy one and see how much you need. It is good after opening for one month

We supplement, also with similac advance from costco. I think the math works out to about 50 cents per 4oz bottle, which I think is reasonable for our kids nutrition. We go through about one tub per week for our twins since they get more formula than breastmilk.
Luckily their systems handle the similac well. We tried the Kirkland brand since it is half the price, but it made them spit up a ton.
