Question for all of you who used the rock n play. Did you swaddle wean first in the RNP and then transition to the crib later or did you do both at the same time? My son is 4.5 months and sleeps in the RNP at home but in a crib at daycare (swaddled). Tonight we tried him in our crib swaddled, and he flipped over right away so it looks like it's time to swaddle wean. Wanted to see what others had luck with first! Thanks!

We didn't swaddle wean when we transitioned to his crib, but he was younger and wasn't rolling yet ... maybe just try a sleep sack? That's what we did once he was unswaddled.

I put him in he crib first but ultimately swaddled weaned at the same time because he had learned to roll. Once they can roll the rock n play and swaddled are no longer safe in my opinion.

We moved to a sleep sack in her RnP. She's still in it at 4 months. We tried a PnP one night and it went so badly (and she barfed sooo much bc of reflux), that we won't be doing that again for awhile.
Since our LO doesn't wear anything but a diaper around the house, a sleep sack is a good way for us to signal that its bed time since its like pajamas. They also make sleep sacks with swaddles you can wrap around their waist

We went from swaddled in R&P to swaddled in crib and then swaddle weaned. We moved her to the crib before she was rolling though...around 8 weeks
