We just went in to my DD's 1 year appointment and she has jumped to 50% height and 96% weight from 12% and 73% respectively. She suggested that I switch to 2% milk from whole (we only just started cows milk a week ago). I just always thought babies should be on whole no matter what until 2 years. I think her reasoning was that DD might be filling up on it before meals. But I thought about just giving it to her during meals instead of between. I always thought whole milk is better as far as nutrition because of the way they process it compared to other. I might be totally off base though. Thoughts? Anyone switch to 2% at a year old?
