Where I live, accommodation for breastfeeding/pumping at work is only guaranteed until the baby is six months old. I have always sort of flown under the radar and pumped till age one for my son and will be at age one for my daughter in October. Recently my employer has been getting stricter about enforcing the "law" and it really concerns me. I just sent a long email to the big boss and the hr boss stating the basics on the benefits and recommendations on breastfeeding and asked them to reconsider the policy. I feel like I just took a big risk but I feel so strongly about this. Worst case scenario I am banned from pumping.... Best, they change the policy.
