We regularly do the glow bracelets. I get about 12 for $1-$2. The kids love them and I feel better than giving them more sugar. I'll have to get a teal pumpkin...

Cool thanks! I just found out DD has a peanut and egg allergy so we will definitely be participating this year. It honestly never even occurred to me to offer non candy treats for kids with allergies. Now off to find some non-candy goodies!

Thanks for posting the reminder! We usually do both and I swear the non-candy treats go faster than the candy!

@regberadaisy: I used acrylic last year. I don't know about rain but it stood up to heat last year. It sealed in my pumpkins really well... I kept waiting for them to rot and they never really did. I think I tossed them in December!

Thank you for posting! I cannot wait to participate this year and excited to spread awareness. I'm making treat bags with bubbles, temporary tattoos, and glow bracelets. I'm also offering allergy free candies as well. I'm tempted to print out flyers for my neighbors but not sure if people will be offended.
