I'm thinking Josh. I like Chris a lot. He's adorable, and so is his family!
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@KelLeeLeee: I'm glad I'm not the only one who likes Nick!
@Hoots: I don't even think they made him look bad during the season. There are so many guys who did totally look bad, jerky, pathetic, etc. But Nick has just always been into Andi. I didn't care that he was overly confident, took her away even though he had a rose, didn't interact with the rest of the guys...
And what do you think is odd about Josh's family life? He's excited for his younger brother in the same way I'm sure the younger brother was excited for Josh when Josh was drafted for baseball. I think it seems like a fun family! My concern with Josh is about his current profession. The bachelor show keeps calling him a "former pro baseball player." But has he found a new career?
I want to hear more about the successful farmer!!
nectarine / 2465 posts
@MrsMcD: I've been thinking the same thing! What does Josh do now? Is he living off his pro-baseball money? I guess the show didn't really make Nick bad, but they definitely picked on him because someone needs to be the guy, right?
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@KelLeeLeee: Bingo! Someone needs to be the villain! And no way Josh is living off his signing money. I don't think he was even drafted in the first round. And because I'm a stalker, I found this: http://capstonefinancialga.com/financial-planning-atlanta/financial-advisors-atlanta/. So he's in some kind of business.
wonderful grape / 20453 posts
Josh is in money management. he has a BS in business. or a BA. My friends and i were stalking him last night because we were curious what he does now, too., heh.
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@blackbird: I wish I watched it with you and your friends last night.
So I found this picture of Nick. Umm... no. He's off my list now. Big time. '
blogger / pomelo / 5361 posts
@MrsMcD: There's another picture floating around on a spoiler site where he is wearing tight, bright blue capri pants. I just can't . . . ugh.

That v neck
Chris's surprise with the plane? I love his romantic side so much!
Josh's family is so pretty. I can see her fighting with Josh. A lot. I do like them together though.
Poor Marcus. He was so pitiful. You just knew that with the amount he said that he loved her that he was going home.
nectarine / 2465 posts
@MrsMcD: Noooo that is awful!!! hahaha. Andi always says how she likes a 'Man' - like an athlete, or a farmer, so that makes me think she won't pick him.
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@Lindsay05: I'm so glad you said it first... but Marcus was so majorly pitiful. Not his fault... but he was... poor guy.
@Mrs. Blue: I'm cringing at the thought of those pants!!!
@KelLeeLeee: Yes, a "man"! No man wear a deep deep tight v neck shirt. So the farmer or the jock has to win. I'd like her to pick the jock so that the farmer can be the next bachelor.
wonderful grape / 20453 posts
hahaha Nick has some seriously questionable clothing tastes.
I also want to say that I was kind of turned off by how they handled Eric's passing. It felt so gratuitous/for the show and the drama. And I just found that kind of gross. But that's the scene Nick had on capris and I could not stop laughing about those effing pants!
But yeah, I've had the take away thought that Andi likes her men "manly" and "aggressive", basically. And the whole "fight for me, profess your love to me" bullshit is a bit eye rolling.
pomegranate / 3759 posts
@blackbird: Yeah I agree with the whole Eric thing. I mean, I know that I wanted to see that part so that's exactly what they wanted to do. Show the drama. However, it seems they kind of made it look like Andi was the one struggling the most and that's not what it should've been about. They don't need to make it more dramatic. Show it how it was and move on.

Ugh I accidentally read Reality Steve's spoiler about who she picks as the winner. I'm so mad at myself!!
I honestly don't like any of them except Chris. He is so cute and sweet and his family was amazing!! Like, I kinda want them to adopt m
I've always thought Nick was kind of a weiner, not really a "man" I guess, and it doesn't really seem like Josh has much depth or substance.

@MrsMcD: Sorry, I should have phrased my last comment better. I thought what Josh's family said about him was a bit of a red flag. His family in general seems perfectly fine, and his dog was awesome. What his sister said was what kind of turned me off of Josh. She seemed to confirm that Josh's world revolved around his brother and it would cause fights down the line. It really bugs me they bill him as a former pro baseball player. (I'm sure this is the producers doing though) He stopped playing quite a while ago and never made it to the majors. Minor leaguers generally get paid less than minimum wage. He played right of high school for 5 years (so to age 22 or 23). Then he went to Georgia, played for their baseball team and their football team along side his brother. Apparently now he works in Financial Services.
@IRunForFun: I've been avoiding reality steve like the plague this season!!! It's so hard!
Nick's choice of wardrobe is terrible. Gah! I hate those deep v-necks. They are just so unsexy to me. I was just commenting last night to DH on the blazer he wore to the rose ceremony. Maybe I just like a more classic men's style.
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@IRunForFun: haha I ready reality steve too! but for me it doesn't take away the fun. I read them early on too so half the time I forget! I actually love knowing the winner so I can see if I can see hints or anything throughout the season.
I really love love love Chris after hometown! He is very realistic to know that he can totally not get picked pretty much for where he lives (unless she is madly in love with him and doesn't care at all). I feel like he kinda feels like she won't want to live in Iowa, but he still goes all out for her. And he really is the hottest farmer I have ever seen lol!~

I am finally caught up, but now bummed that I have to wait for more episodes. I really like Chris. Nick annoys me- it seems he is more about winning than Andi. The head and heart commentary strongly suggests that her head says Chris, heart says Nick. My guess is that she will pick Nick and it won't last, and that Chris will be the next bachelor.
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
I figure it's the weekly revival for this thread to talk about last night's episode! I love Chris even MORE now, the way he handled the rejection! Such a gentlemen.
pomelo / 5509 posts
@snowjewelz: I'm actually kind of glad she didn't pick Chris, because I think he is too good for her! I love him so much! I have a feeling he won't have trouble with the ladies after this, though.
I think Andi has poor judgement and taste in men, hahaha.
GOLD / wonderful olive / 19030 posts
@snowjewelz: I agree, and I think he knows he's a shoo in for the next Bachelor
@IRunForFun: If I were single I would totally go after him! A hot farmer, sign me up! (I did marry me one of those too though...haha)
nectarine / 2465 posts
@snowjewelz: I agree! I actually get the feeling that maybe the producers made her keep him around so that he could be the next bachelor. I feel like they never really had any chemistry and she let other people go before him who she did have chemistry with.
pomelo / 5509 posts
@LuLu Mom: I said the same thing, I'd marry him! Hahaha. His family was so cute, too.
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
Darn it! My tv didn't tape the episode last night! I'm so bummed for Chris, but not really. @IRunForFun: I agree Chris is too good for her. @LuLu Mom: You married a hot farmer? Lucky! @KelLeeLeee: Good thinking re: producers keeping him around. But I don't think she really had any chemistry with any of the guys except Nick and the ex-baseball player.
So how was her family? Is that what last night's episode was about?
nectarine / 2465 posts
@MrsMcD: in 2 weeks they are visiting her family, last nights episode she spent overnights in the 'fantasy suite.'
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@KelLeeLeee: Oh my gosh! I didn't want to miss that one! Was there any real drama???
pomelo / 5509 posts
@MrsMcD: There really wasn't much drama at all, the biggest drama was just that she told Chris at dinner, before any fantasy suite action with him, that she wasn't feeling their connection, and sent him home without the option of the overnight. She spent the night with Nick and Josh but didn't say anything about either of the nights afterward. Lame.
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@IRunForFun: @KelLeeLeee: So lame! That's nice for Chris though. He seems like such a good guy.
GOLD / wonderful olive / 19030 posts
@MrsMcD: Ha-ha technically he's not a farmer yet, but he will take over the family farm once his dad is ready to retire so he's a farmer-in-waiting. He looks hot in a tractor
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@LuLu Mom: Hahahahah! That's so awesome! Do you help out on the farm? And what kind of farm is it? Do you have horses or other farm animals?
nectarine / 2192 posts
@MrsMcD: I don't have a DVR- I just watch all the episodes online. You can do it through huluplus or signing in through a cable provider.
Nick wasn't as creepy last night. The book was pretty adorable. I am just not impressed with either of the two remaining. Chris is almost a guaranteed next Bachelor, which is kind of funny, because I think that is what Nick really wanted.
blogger / pomelo / 5361 posts
We moved this weekend and don't have cable or internet yet, so I'm glad to get the updates via this thread. Sounds like it was pretty much what I expected to happen.
I hope Chris is the next Bachelor. He seems like an actual good guy, kind of like Sean Lowe. I liked his season because I actually wanted him to find a sweet girl to live happily ever after with. Maybe Chris will be like that!
GOLD / wonderful olive / 19030 posts
@MrsMcD: Haha it's still his parent's farm, but DH goes and helps when his parent's need it. I'm not much help really. DH will help with planting/harvest -- corn, beans, hay, ect. They used to have cattle but FIL recently sold them all about a year ago, he said he was too old to deal with them, but is now thinking of getting "some calves for the granddaughters." They do chickens, no horses, but that's not without trying on my niece and daughter's part We'll have to wait and see if grandpa caves and gets them a horse, or pony to ride! ha

That deep-v pic of Nick up there makes me jealous - he's got better cleavage than I do!
We had severe thunderstorms/tornado/flash flood warnings last night so I missed all of the Nick date. I'm sad Chris is gone. I'd love if he was the next Bachelor but he might be too boring for it?
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@sheskrafty: I was also thinking he might be too boring!!!!! He's so nice, but maybe not a good main character.
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@LuLu Mom: It sounds like grandpa is in for his share of pressure from all the little girls!! What a fun family!
blogger / wonderful cherry / 21616 posts
@Mrs. Blue: I started wondering if he'd really be the bachelor only because he seems *too good* if you know what I mean. I feel like a girl who is great enough for him isn't the type to go on the bachelor.
pomelo / 5509 posts
@Mrs. Pen: @sheskrafty: @MrsMcD: I wonder who the next bachelor might be if not Chris? At first I thought maybe Marcus, but then he is apparently going to be on that Bachelor in Paradise show. I guess if not Chris it could always be Josh or Nick - whichever one Andi doesn't pick.
blogger / pomelo / 5361 posts
@sheskrafty: at first, I thought he would be too boring, but I felt like the hometown episode showed a lot more personality.
grapefruit / 4441 posts
I don't think Chris is too boring... I agree that he probably has more personality than we've seen...I feel like there have been glimpses... I also felt he handled being sent home like a real gentleman. I liked what he said about wanting to leave if she didn't feel what he felt... he deserves better and he knows it. I would definitely watch if he was the bachelor.
I actually thought Nick was pretty adorable in that episode, though the book was a little much for me.
Nick and Josh are so different...I'm definitely curious to see who she will pick. All along it seemed like Nick was the sure winner, but she also seems to like Josh a lot...either because he's also from Atlanta or because she isn't sure how he feels about her...the whole wanting what you can't have thing.
nectarine / 2465 posts
@78h2o: Good point about the whole wanting what you can't have thing! I think she will pick Nick, but Josh definitely has a good chance.
