DS is 5 weeks old and bfing has been going fine overall, but today is a miraculous day.
My Boppy came in the post this morning and it is the best thing ever!!! I'd been concerned about whether it was a necessity after hearing mixed reviews. I'm currently bfing hands-free! No more swollen tendons and sore back from holding him up the whole time! I'm in love

Glad you love it! Didn't work for me because lo had reflux so she had to be upright while eating. Hopefully ill get more use out of it with my next baby.

I wanted a boppy but they cost over $100 where I live! I couldn't justify the cost, so I made my own stuffer and used the boppy slipcovers. I used it a ton for tummy time and baby lounging.
It's a great concept, isnt it?

Aww yay! My boss got me one because she said it was the greatest thing. Baby's still on the inside, but I am glad we have the boppy for when he arrives.

@looch: $100?!?! That's crazy! I wish I were crafty enough to make things on my own, it would have saved me so much money on so many baby-related items!
I'm looking forward to using my Boppy too, and I also bought the nursing pillow by Balboa baby. My friends swear by My Breast Friend but it looks so big and clunky, I couldn't bring myself to buy one. I'll probably be eating my words in a few weeks and will have to send the husband out to get that pillow too!

Glad you like it! I still had to hunch over it a bit. I got a Gia and looove it. The Boppy still comes along on road trips sometimes.

I'm really happy to hear you love it and of course that you'll be without a sore back and tendons! I was given one but hear such mixed reviews.

And it's not just for breastfeeding. Our nearly 8mo was vomitting last night so I felt better with her sleeping with us than in her crib alone. We prop her up with the boppy in our bed. It helps her congestion as well as limits her ability to roll around in her sleep.
It's been a great "napper" ever since she was little. Even though it says its not for sleep. She only sleeps on it supervised, never in her crib.
