Last week it was Favorite Sports team and this Friday it is favorite PJ day. Not sure if it is going to be a weekly thing or not.

Kinda. Usually it's voluntary for the smaller kids (Todd's and under).

@Smurfette: yup, they have themed days in the toddler room. Last friday was bring your favorite stuffed animal day. Which I forgot.
One day this month is red shirt day.

@T.H.O.U.: last week I was impressed half of the infant room was dressed up for it. I figure I can do things like that. Not doing grandparents story time on Wed.

Yes, last Friday was jersey day.

Yes, ours has always had "spirit" Fridays. It's optional, but we do it when it makes sense. I like it; it's fun!

Ours has one or two a month. @locavore_mama: We have a red shirt day this month, too! Wonder if that's a "thing?"

We had Sports Day recently and I felt oddly about dressing up my 6 month old but we had a jersey onesie so I put her in it. I don't know if theme days are a regular thing.

He just started daycare and this month they have a wear red or green day.

yes there was Crazy Hat Day, Pajama Day, Crazy Hair Day... I forgot what else! Fun!!

I like theme days. But I like themes in general. I'm a dork.

Ours does, but it's not that often. Like around the 4th of July, there was a day where all the Infants had to wear blue (and other rooms were different colors). And then there was that day Xander had to dress as a pirate. But in his 3 months there, they've only had two days he needed to dress up.

We have pajama day today as well! Last year it was once every month but this month the calendar is showing 2 pajama days for the month.

@Smurfette: I guess it was just the theme of the week - they were having Pirate Week so everyone dressed as pirates on that Friday. They had a bunch of pirate games for the older kids too.

They have them, but he doesn't go Mondays or Fridays so he misses some of them.
