Did you take or do anything to increase cm? I've heard and read that clomid dries you out so I'm wondering if I should try mucinex, robitussin, or some other trick to increase cm. Fwiw, we already use pre-seed, but I wasn't sure if that would be enough.

We used pre-seed but I also took mucinex that cycle because I had a bad cold and ended up getting pregnant!

I've done mucinex some cycles (this is #7 on clomid for me) and not others and I'm not sure it made much difference, because the cycle I noted very little CM was the one that was a success.
that said, I don't think it will hurt to do the mucinex thing, it's just a pain to remember to take it (for me at least).

I did pre-seed, but I sort of hate it, so once we switched to IUI (+Clomid) I stopped, since we were bypassing my cervix

@MrsTal: Evening Primrose Oil tablets worked GREAT for me. You can find them at any store.. I got mine at Trader Joes.

@MrsTal: I found that my CM was fine on Clomid! I hope that's the case for you as well. I think drinking lots of water is a good thing, along with the tricks others have shared with you.

I did IUI so I never worried about it too much, I have heard about Mucinex or Some type of cough syrup!!!

I didn't have any problem with cm while on clomid.

I took robitussin and used preseed! I noticed a huge issue on clomid with me drying up.

Thanks everyone! It seems like it really varies from person to person. I think I may have some mucinex on hand just in case.

I started to have problems with CM during the last few cycles with Clomid, and the wonderful nurse at my RE's office told me that Pre-Seed is great and that was that. Good luck to you!

I know people who have taken medicine for it, but I don't remember doing that! I just remember using lots and lots of olive oil (what our dr suggested over pre-seed, as it's closer to what your body actually makes). So that's what we used!

@blackbird: I know this is an old thread, but quick (personal) question: how did the olive oil work? Were you successful? And, ummm, what did you do about your sheets? Use a towel?
