Thanks, all!! I am up to an 8 on pitocin and they seem to like that because they've left it there for about two hours. I was checked an hour ago and I'm at 4 cm which was a little disappointing.

@swedishfish: How are your contractions feeling? I've heard pitocin induced contractions are super painful. And 4 cm is nothing to sweat over! I hope we see SwedishGuppy by the end of the day!

@swedishfish: I wasn't induced but my labor sped up significantly after I hit 5cm!

@swedishfish: are they going to break your water? when they broke mine (with both inductions) it tremendously increase the speed of labor. I took 4 hours to go from 2 to 4 but only 2 hours to go from 4 to 8.

Don't get discouraged you're doing great! Labor isn't linear, don't get stuck on the math. I spent most of my labor getting to 5 cm, and then had my baby just a few hours after that. You can do it!
