So I was 6 cm when last checked at 5:25 PM. The doctor broke my water and immediately my contractions got much worse... So I caved and got an epidural. All three medical personnel in the room yelled NO at me when they told me I may feel a sensation like hitting my funny bone but I felt that mixed with electrical shock and my leg involuntarily jumped. So I cried like a little baby
Also, the fluid from breaking my waters was yellowy so baby went to the bathroom inside. Instead of handing me the baby he/she will go directly to the pediatrician to be checked.

@swedishfish: You are on your way! Electric shock is right. They told me I should feel it on both sides, and I'm yelling, "Left side! Left side!!" because I was super-scared of the epidural only "working" on one side. Thankfully they readjusted.
Get some rest, mama! I know you can't wait to see if your guppy is a pink fish or a blue fish!!

You are doing fantastic!!! DD had meconium and had to get checked out too, but she was fine and came right back to me.

Guppy is a pink fish!!! Reese Mae was born at 3:39 this morning after many hours of pushing. She ended up being posterior and the nurses were only able to turn her a tiny bit so pushing took a lot longer than usual. I am in love and exhausted.
