Ugh, sooo close yet sooo far! I really wanted to make it to 1 year EBF (except for solids after 6 months). I did make it to the 6 month mark by pumping 5-6x/day and nursing 3-4x per day. However, at 6.5 months I had to start supplementing with formula because I could not produce the ounces needed for daycare. I was able to nurse 3-4 times per day and provide 2 bottles of pumped milk. However, around 8 months my supply dropped and I started taking domperidome. I think it helped my supply from drying up, but I only got about 6-7 oz for 3 pumping sessions at work. I still nursed 2-3 times per day but LO wasn't that into it except for at night.

Now LO is 10.5 months. She never initiates nursing on her own and refuses during the day. However, she will still nurse before bed and during the night or early morning. I'd love to continue this until at least one year. Problem is that out of nowhere, I think the domperidone started making me feel nauseous. I cut back on the dose and my supply went down. For the last few days, I cut it out entirely and now I am only getting 1-2 oz during the day at work, pumping maybe 60-90 minutes in 2-3 sessions.

I can't decide, should I throw in the towel? Is she getting any benefit at this point? I've tried fenugreek, oatmeal, water, more milk tea, MMP pills, etc. but maybe I've been a little lazy about it (i.e. inconsistently). Should I mobilize and try to take all measures to increase my supply? I just worry that I will regret it if I don't make my 1 year goal... but on the other hand, maybe 6 weeks won't make that big of a difference. WWYD?!
