Hellobee Boards

LO has been using a spoon since a little before he was a year with success and little mess (he never got really messy except a little at the face at first and we never used/use bibs). He also really only started to eat solids at that age (first solid was at 9.5 mo), so I'm not sure if that played into it. Now he always has to have a spoon or fork to eat anything! We didn't do much in terms of teaching him...he just wanted to feed himself with the spoon and in an attempt to get him to eat we let him.

We used metal utensils by Onieda (we have the bear ones). He actually refused to eat anything off the VitalBaby spoons we initially purchased. http://www.oneida.com/fine-flatware/child-and-baby-flatware.html
