My 15 month old wakes up any time between 6/7:00am and her nap is around 11:30/12:00-2:00/2:30. Bedtime is around 7:40/8:00pm. So I guess roughly 5 hours between wake up and naps and nap and bed time!

My LO is usually awake roughly from 7 to 1:30. Lately he usually naps until 4, and I try to have him in bed by 8:30.
So 6.5 hours before nap, 4.5 hours after.

My 15 month old wakes up sometime between 6:30 - 7:30 a.m. He usually goes down for his afternoon (only) nap around 1:30 p.m. and sleeps for around 2 hours. Then he's down for the night around 8:00 p.m. So about 6ish hours between wake-up and nap, then 4-5 hours between nap and bedtime.

2 years old (but has been this way since around 15 months).
Wake up 5:30-6
Nap 11:30-12 ish
So she's awake for about 6 hours before nap.
She goes to bed around 8pm, so she's awake for another 6 hours or so after that.

My son is 2.5 and he wakes up around 6 in the morning and is ready for his nap at 12:30.

A is only on one nap and she is 11 months. She wakes between 8:30/9:30am and naps around 1/2pm then goes to bed at 7:30.

It varies from day to day. She gets up around 515 am and goes to sleep around 12ish. Since she gets up so early there are days where she still take two naps. On days where she only naps once it is for 3 hours, which I love

My DD is 12 months and wakes up at around 7/7:30 and takes her nap at 12:30 Ito 2:30) and then goes to bed at 7:30. So about 5 hours of wake time before nap and after nap.
She just recently went to a 1 nap routine because of daycare. She takes 2 naps during the weekends though.

Typically, she is awake 5-6 hours before nap and 4-5 before bedtime. She's 15 months.

LATE nap here.. up at 630 or 7, nap at 3ish, 90 minutes only, and bed at 8 or 9ish.

Ha ha. I was goint to finish the sentence with, "are evil." She has 6.5 hours before nap, and then 6 hours before bed. 16 months. We are just struggling with no time to deal with family stuff after kids are in bed. Which is why I am awake right now.

My 18 month old wakes up around 7am, naps around 11:30am, and wakes up around 1:30 to 2pm. She's usually down for the night around 7-730pm.

@sloaneandpuffy: how old is your LO? I think we're headed in this direction. 6-6.5 hours of awake time for my almost 21 months seems to be too short (even though I need a break by then!)...so she doesn't nap sometimes...I think I may have to keep her up so she's tired for naptime bc she just plays in her crib some days...she used to nap so well...it's been nap chaos for the past week.
Currently at almost 21 months she wakes up around 8:00 and I try to put her down around 2:00/2:30 (so about 6 hours of awake time)...and I don't let her sleep past 5:00 so she'll have at least 3 hours before bedtime at 8:00. This used to work great, but lately she's not tired for naptime. I may have to start waking her in the morning... Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated!

It really depends. After Noelle turned 2, she was a lot more flexible with her schedule. So we put her down at 12:30 pm on some days (and wake up around 3 pm), and other days (like today) she napped from 2-4:30 pm.
Her bedtime is always around 8-8:30 pm now. Even though she slept at 4:30 pm today (and could've kept sleeping if we didn't wake her), she still went down by 8:30 pm. She woke up at 6:30 am this morning.

To specifically answer your questions:
How many hours are they awake before their nap?
6:30 am - 12:30/1:30 pm = 6-7 hours
And then how many hours are they awake until bedtime?
3:30 pm - 8:30 pm = 5 hours
She's 31 months old.

She wakes up anywhere between 8 and 9. Nap time is 130 or 2, she'll sleep until 330, 4 if she's exhausted. Then bedtime is 830.

LO wakes up around 7 and naps between 1-2. He will take a 2 hour nap and goes down to bed anywhere from 9-10 unfortunately.
6-7 hours awake before nap and 6 hours awake before bedtime. LO is 27 months old, and I'm starting to get rid of nap time in hopes of his night sleep improving. So far no luck on that front though. My kid doesn't like sleep.

Miss A is almost ten months and is in the process of transitioning down to one nap. At the moment she's up at 7am and I'm trying to put her down for a two hour nap between 1130 and 1200 which with a 1900ish bedtime gives her five or so hours of awake time before bed.

DS is 23 months old. He wakes up around 8:00 or 8:30 each morning and goes down for his nap between 1:00 and 1:30. I try to aim for 1:00. He's awake for about 5 hours before his nap. I wake him at 3:30 if he doesn't wake up on his own by that point. He normally goes to bed around 8:00 each night but it's been closer to 8:30 lately.

It depends. She sleeps better at home than she does at daycare.
At daycare: up for 4.5 hours, nap for 1.5 hours, bed 6 hours later.
At home: up for 3.5 hours, nap for 3 hours, bed 6 hours later.

LO is 16 months and has been on one nap since about 9 months.
Wake-up: 7:30ish
Nap: 1-3ish
Bed: 7:30ish
So her wake intervals are somewhere around 5-6 hours and then 4-5 hours.

DD is 18 months old and we are transitioned to one nap a little over 1.5 months ago but still trying to push the nap later. Here it is right now:
Wake - 615
Nap - 11 to 1 (trying to push to 1130 or 12)
Bedtime - 730

@sandy: Sorry didn't see this until just now... he's going to be 3 in December but I'd say he's been like this since he was 2 probably.
pineapple / 12526 posts
She's usually awake 4-5 hours the first stretch and then 4-5 the second. She gets up anywhere between 7-8 am, takes a nap at 12/1 for about 2 hours and then goes to bed at 7.
