We're flying to Florida on Saturday and I'm trying to figure out the nursing logistics. I'm thinking of skipping a nursing session (will give dd a bottle of pumped milk instead) and then pumping as soon as we land and get our rental car. That will probably put me at about eight hours between nursing sessions. Do you think that's doable?

At the moment dd nurses about every four hours and usually just on one side. I get engorged overnight when I go about ten hours between my nighttime pump and her morning feed, but it's not painful (I don't get nearly as engorged as I used to).

She's a SUPER distracted nurser, to the point that I can only nurse her in silence at home, and almost always side-lying. I just can't see her being cool with nursing in the airport or on the plane.

Oh, and she's been EBF (plus solids now) since birth and is 9 months old now, so I'm not worried that this will affect supply, as it's obviously well-established at this point.

Do you think this is doable?
