There is a tree but allergy in my child’s class so we need to be careful to avoid that - will everything say if it has it? I send generic pirates booty from alsi a lot and the package doesn’t say no nuts but it also doesn’t list it. Are there any pre packaged snacks that people know are safe?

Are you in the U.S? If so, after the nutrition info and ingredients, if the product contains tree nuts you will see the phrase "contains": There are eight allergens that have to be listed this way in the U.S., and tree nuts are fortunately one of them. So it makes it straightforward - you don't need to read every ingredient.
Immediately after the contains label, it will say "processed in a facility"... if it's processed in a facility that also uses tree nuts, or any of the other eight allergens with mandated labeling.
