TWW - POAS Early March

  1. Meeshling

We're in our first TWW, and I am so anxious! Which is weird to me, because I don't really expect to get pregnant our first month AND a March BFP is a wee bit early for me (work-wise, I'm aiming for a Nov-Mar due date, with Dec and Jan being the best for me).

Anyway, I'm planning to POAS on Mar 8 or 9 (as we're going away that weekend and I'll need to know if it's OK to drink or not!)

Well, according to ff, I'm 4DPO today. So I'm supposed to POAS on 3/10. Baby dust to all my fellow early-March-POASers!

Hi all. AF was "due" yesterday based on a 28 day cycle. However, I think I o'd late (say 18 -19) so I would presume af would arrive later as well. Yesterday I had minimal spotting. The only other time I have had that was the cycle I got pregnant with LO. I have had cramps this week so something is brewing! I am trying desperately not to get my hopes up! Had a bfn this am so I am not sure what to think.

I caved and POAS today (9 DPO). Fail. AF is due March 2. FF sucked me into it by telling me 15% of positive pregnancy tests were reported before 9 DPO. Self control clearly isn't my strength. I feel even more like I'm out now, even though I know it's not an absolute. Maybe taking a BFN for the team will mean all of you get BFPs!

Yeah, I just tested with one of those test strips. BFN. I have a feeling this isn't my month. AF is still planned to come March 2nd. Guess we'll see. I have been really occupied this month so I haven't had to urge to test. I was just curious today, that's why I tested.

I'm in my TWW too. Currently 7 dpo. This is the point where I usually start going crazy with tests, but I'm really going to try hard to avoid that this time. I have no tests at home and refuse to walk down the family planning aisles at CVS! I have a good feeling about this cycle because it's the FIRST TIME that I've had ecwm around the positive OPK! I think it's because I was eating lean meats, vegetables, no processed foods for this diet I was on.

    @MrsLilybugg: OOHHH Good luck!!!

I am 2 DPO but just am not sure what's going on. I got an unexpected positive OPK on Sat afternoon. Got really excited because I was only CD8 so I retest about an hour letter to get a Negative OPK.
We BD'd the day before and that night. But, ever since our last BD i've had mild cramps and spotting when I wipe every so often so I just have no idea what my body is doing.
I am hoping to hold off the full 14 DPO before testing.
Part of me feels really lucky this first cycle but then the other part of me thinks I just want it so bad and we are so new to TTC that I have false hopes. Idk.

Finally got my PEAK sign on the CBE fertility monitor... just to give you a brief synopsis... and also clarity in writing for myself...

I have a longer-ish cycle at 36 days. This month, the monitor started testing me at CD6... starting CD15 I got the 2 bar/"High fertility" notification for 9 days... this morning CD25 I finally got my PEAK/O notification! This is 3-4 days later than my CD21-22 O day on the last two cycles. I actually took a OPK last night and got a positive... since I use FMU for the monitor... and this morning's results confirmed last night's OPK!

We have been diligent to the monitor and baby danced on the following days: CD 8, CD15--17, CD19-20, CD22, CD24(AM & PM)...

We will be BDing through CD27 (today is CD25)....then AF is expected around March 10th, but I'll be holding out that AF might be later this month too since I O'ed later than what I thought was my "usual").

    GOOD LUCKKKKKKKKK to everyone else!!!!

@Crisark: Hmm, that sounds like what happened to me my first cycle off BC. I had a positive OPK, and a few days later, very light spotting. When I spoke to my gyn about it, she thinks it was my body regulating itself. Did you just get off BC? Maybe that is the case! Good luck!!!
I am trying very hard not to symptom spot. I refuse! So I say a thing about the twinges in my BBs, or twinges I felt last night in my Os. ha ha. Well, I actually tend to get those from O to AF so I won't read into it...

I'm so confused over here. It's a full week before AF is due and I've been having some very light, brown spotting since yesterday morning. Its not getting any heavier, if anything it's getting lighter. I don't thinks it's AF early because im not having cramps, just a lower back ache which I'm sure is cause from taking a little tumble down the stairs (silly clumsy me).

Has anyone experienced this? Any ideas as to what it could be?

@Ohlizaa: could be implantation bleeding! gluck!!

  17. Mrs. Blue

@Ohlizaa: I second implantation bleeding, if spotting is not a normal occurrence for you mid-cycle.

My temp is officially still at its highest at 11 DPO, but I've had two BFNs, and AF is still looming on March 2.

I think it might be, since it's stopped! Im trying to be very good this cycle and not test until I'm late. I only have one test left and I really don't want to buy more lol. Any secrets to controlling myself??

  22. cupcakemama

    persimmon / 1465 posts

@Ohlizaa: I have had the same thing going on. I couldn't resist testing. Bfn. Sigh. But af still hasn't shown up so I am still in the game. I think I am at about 13dpo. I have been feeling awful. If this is what it is going to be like every month then I will be 1 unhappy mama.

This is our first cycle TTC and I thought I would use CM to predict. I've been a little confused, so if things don't work out this cycle, I think I may try some OPK's next time around. I usually have a 28-34 day cycle. So for this cycle I've been keeping track and Days 1-3 period, 4-9 dry, 10-14 thick, 15-19 thin/clear (BDduring this time). I'm on day 20 now and it seems to be a little thicker again. I kept waiting for EWCM but I don't think it was ever really 'stretchy' so that threw me off. I'm going to keep an eye on it, but I may be in the TWW now.

I got the lightest positive test ever today. This is our first cycle post-m/c. I bought some digital tests to take tomorrow because I'm still convinced that I hallucinated the second line through wishful thinking. Let's hope this one sticks!

    @ChelseaRose: oooh good luck!!

So I'm really trying not to get too bummed out here. But I'm at 8 dpo and my gums were bleeding when I brushed my teeth. Which never happens. So of course I look it up on that wonderful tww symptoms site and see it's a common occurance for many before getting their BFPs. I'm just so scared that I am an aberration and it won't be me., and once again I will have symptom spotted for nothing (also sore breasts and twinges in my O's. Again, symptom spotting which could also mean AF).
eeek sorry for sounding like such a debbie downer. I just really hope this is our cycle!!

Ugh, I'm pretty sure I'm out, though I'm not positive yet. For the past few days, my temps have hovered around 98.0, and this morning, it was down down down. I actually took it twice because I didn't believe my first temp. The two temps were 97.43 and 97.60, taken ~5 minutes apart. I suspect I took the first one poorly, but who knows. I'm only 9DPO, so I really hope AF isn't showing up today, but regardless, it's not looking good for me. 97.6 is my coverline, so I think it's over for me.

Thank you all so much! I really appreciate it! I took a digital test today and it said "pregnant"!!!! Thanks for the sticky wishes.

I hope to see many more BFP in this thread! And more of you posting in the November due date thread!!

@mrsjyw: Thanks! I'm sooooooo confused, because if AF does show up today, I would've only had a 23-day cycle, which just seems soooooo short. But maybe that's part of regulating off BCP.

My temp has been 97.95 the last two days and dropped to 97.4 today at 12 DPO. 14 day LP usually, so AF is well on her way.

I can not wait to be able to test! I'm only 3 DPO and the O was 5 days sooner than predicted so I have no idea how lucky we might have been with our random BD schedule!
