I'll tell you ladies, if it wasn't for this group I'd be insane right about now lol.
I am 19dpo, Thought AF showed last week but was wrong (I think since it was one day) and no signs of AF really coming this weekend like it "should be" and I went a head and POAS just cause I was curious and of course got a BFN.
If I wasn't able to vent this all out I think I'd just be stressed to the max. I could never have imagined how difficult it would be to remove the Mirena. I have never felt so emotional, bloated,Broken out, sore boobs, and just flat out Blah in all my life. I think I am just now starting to feel normal again.
I can't wait for my cycle to normalize so I can have some chance of getting a BFP. This process has taken more of a toll on me mentally than I expected. The hormone changes have just been intense.

A couple of days with questionable lines on the HPTs and then a definite positive last night! Woo!

I got a BFN this morning but I'm still six days from my expected start of AF... I'm just being crazy! I'm starting to feel a little bit of the same symptoms I had last time I got pregnant (some bloating, headachy, dizzy) but I also have a bad cold right now so I'm not sure what to think.

Hello ladies, I'm joining the fray because I need to give my mind something else to do besides counting days - days past ovulation, days until I expect my period... it's making me crazy. Hope to test this weekend, so it'll be nice to keep up with everyone's progress to keep my mind off of myself! Baby dust to you all!

I was dumb and tested today at 9DPO (BFN). And I have a massive cold complete with awful coughing, ugh I have a bachelorette party to go to next weekend, so while I'd prefer to have a BFP at least I'll have something to look forward to if I don't.

@Crisark: *hugs* I remember when I came off the pill I was a mess and my hormones were going crazy! It took a few cycles to get back to normal. My hubby was wondering what the heck was going on because I was way more emotional than normal and any little thing would set me off.

Well ladies, we've now got two BFP's so far in this group (if I'm counting correctly). Let's hope there are a couple more on the way. I'm at 9DPO but am trying to wait to test if/until I'm late... so maybe Tuesday.

  25. DillonLion

    GOLD / eggplant / 11517 posts

@GreenThumb: Here's my log. There is a lot of boob talk because I usually have very sore breasts before AF, so that made me wonder if something was up.

3/3: Very tired in early evening
    3/4 - 3/7: No symptoms
3/8: Nausea in AM, NO sore boobs?
    3/9: Nothing
    3/10: Mildly sore boobs
3/11: Mildly sore boobs, negative HPT
3/12: No sore boobs, mild cramping in afternoon, extremely faint positive HPT
3/13: Negative digital HPT, mild cramping
Day AF was due - 3/14: Lots of CM, greasy skin, skin broken out, mild cramping, positive HPT at 6 PM

    Hope that helps!

I just need one more high temp to get CH tomorrow and then I can officially join you all who are in the TWW!

@crisark: I can totally relate. I stopped BC back in October and I can't even begin to describe the emotional roller coaster I've been through since then. I was so overly emotional the first few months because I was so hormonal and wasn't getting AF. Now I'm finally getting my period, but having long cycles. It can be exhausting, but have faith that your body will regulate. I'm just starting to feel calmer and trying to be confident that when my body is ready I will get pregnant.

@highwire: congrats on your bfp! what dpo were you on 3/14?

  27. Crisark

    pomegranate / 3398 posts

@arielle9510: Thank you for sharing because I do sometimes feel alone with it. I'm so fortunate that my DH is amazingly patient with me and really sympathetic but even the calmest souls can reach their limit lol .We have been arguing a bit more lately which is SO out of the ordinary for us. And I know it's really all me. I got mad the other night because he came home from work and bought something and I was mad that it wasn't something for me lo l I didn't ask for anything and all he did was bring home a chocolate milk and I lost my Sh!t over it lol I mean I've been a nutcase. Luckily I have had a few great days in a row and am starting to feel in control of myself again.
To make matters worse for me emotionally, I also stopped taking my lose does anxiety meds at the same time BC was removed as I can't be on those while pregnant. So, living with me hasn't been easy lol.

  28. arielle9510

    cherry / 220 posts

@crisark: I went off my low dose anxiety meds at the same time too! I think that was part of the reason I was SO on edge. I even told my husband that I apologize in advance if I'm acting like a b**ch. Thankfully he is also very understanding and sympathetic.

Don't worry, it WILL get better!

So, I just couldn't take it anymore so I decided to just take a test and then put it out of my mind. I expected a BFN - but, must to my surprise, got a positive! I ran out and got another test (because I'm neurotic like that) and it came out negative. WHA???!! The positive was a digital test (clearly reads 'pregnant'), the negative was one of those two line deals. I thought I was going crazy before.......
    Thanks for listening....

    pear / 1986 posts

@jocole: That sounds pretty good to me since digitals are supposed to be really reliable, right?! You'll have to test again! Hopefully the third time is the charm?

  33. ksnow

@ Jocole - I think I'd trust the digitial, it needs higher levels of hcg so I think it'd be accurate. Maybe your second test was just more diluted urine? Looking forward to hearing after tomorrow AM!

Thank you so much for your support and enthusiasm! What a strange 24 hours it's been. I took another digital test and positive again! I guess third cycle is the charm! So, here we go.....
Good luck to everyone in whatever paths you choose!

@jocole: Yay! I couldn't get any positives on the digitals...but I think I was testing too early for those. Plenty of pink and blue dye tests to confirm, though!
