So I've been pumping around the clock to try to get my supply up and I'm happy to say that it's been working! I'm finally pumping enough to cover what I send with Xander to daycare. BUT my nipples HURT!!! 
They feel so sore and when I start pumping or when Xander latches on, they hurt initially, and then they kind of get numb to it.
Any suggestions??

@Adira: bag balm is awesome. Someone suggested it to me when my LO bit me and it worked to relieve soreness in just a couple hours. Make sure you wash it off before pumping or nursing!

@Smurfette: I'm scared to! I'm just barely producing enough to cover Xander! I'm afraid if I cut a session, my supply will tank again!

I got pharmaceutical grade Australian lanolin ...Australian Gold I believe and it saved me!

Possibly the start of thrush if you aren't getting the pump parts washed well enough??

I agree with @purrpletulips I pumped with zero pain for weeks and then suddenly it was intense pain and turned out to be thrush. I only thing I found that worked for me for thrush was GSE pills.

You could have the suction to high on the pump. This could cause pain and even thrush over an extended period of time. Also, APNO doesn't have to be washed off before pumping/nursing but lanolin would need to be.

@purrpletulips: @leelee: Ack! Thrush??? Don't scare me ladies! (And if it's because the pump parts aren't being washed well enough, I'm going to kill my husband - he does the washing!)
@Ms.SK: Hmm... I had turned the suction up when my supply tanked... maybe that's the issue. I'll try turning it back down a bit and keep my fingers crossed!

@Adira: to save your DH, I was thinking more about in between pumping sessions at work. I would suggest getting some grapefruit seed extract pills to take just in case (250mg 3x/day worked for me and I noticed a difference in just 1 day). You can get it at GNC, VitaminShop, etc. I found them in the digestive section.

@purrpletulips: Oh, hmm... yeah, I don't wash between sessions, just rinse and put in the fridge... booo
