I feel like this is a silly question ... but what would you do? I have frozen milk from February (dated 2/5-2/24)... stored in the back of a regular freezer. Would you use it or dump it? LO was two months when I pumped it {so 8 months now} in case that makes a difference.

I would thaw it and do a sniff test first.

I voted dump it, but it won't hurt to see if your lo will take it. If you don't need it...definitely just dump it. 6 months is more of a deep freezer time. That being said, I was recently using milk from March and lo was fine with it. He's let me know in the past when a certain bag of milk just wasn't up to par...

I too vote for thaw and sniff test. If it smells off at all, dump it.
