I'm on my second day of flashing smiley face. Is it better to BD every day through flashing to solid smiley face, or should you BD every other day while flashing (I've heard some people can get several days of flashing) and make sure you BD on solid smiley? Tia!!

I was always under the impression that every other day is better b/c you get more high quality sperm than if you do it every day.
We usually just waited until i got a smiley or positive OPK, did it that night and then got busy and would forget to do it again (at least for our second kid)

@blackbird: thanks! That's what I thought as well, but then I read something that says it's actually better to do it every day when you're close to ovulation. Who knows! (We basically have to have a plan in place with a toddler haha)

Depends on your DH's sperm count. If you don't k ow it Id say every other day until the solid and then every day for 2-3 days.

I agree with @travellingbee: Once we knew Dh's count was fine, RE said she wouldn't put us in the penalty box for overachieving.

@snowjewelz: hahaha. Fair point. Well I think there's a good chance of solid smiley tomorrow, so it's just if we take tonight off or not. This is definitely not an entire cycle thing!

I did it every other day with the flashing.....once I got like 8 days of flashing in a row before the solid smiley!

@Zbug: I've been wondering the same thing, so many conflicting answers between everyday is good or every other day. Ughhh. I do it everyday during fw. Time will tell. If no success doing it this way for few months might cut it down to eod.
