The day has come (cue hyperventilating). I start work back tomorrow. And I am so beyond unprepared. haha. I wasn't suppose to start back until Wednesday, but they asked me to come in a day early, plus they called an emergency mandatory meeting I have to attend today, so I'm rushing all over the place.

I still haven't gotten myself a double electric pump. No excuses, I've just been all over the place. I need to call my insurance today and see if I can get one through them and then call WIC to get one from them if the insurance doesn't come through.

I lost the membrane on my handpump a couple weeks ago and my awsome MIL (more to ensure she could still babysit than for my immediate benefit, I believe, lol) went and bought me a single electric pump. Hoorah.

Buttt, the pump's instructions mention that I shouldn't use the pump more than twice a day or bad things will ensue (mastitis, milks supply reduction, etc). Does anyone know why this is? I mean, I'm not really questioning it, more so wanting to know exactly why using one type of pump vs another would increase the risk of such things? Because I've totally been using it two-four times a day when I've been pumping (which hasn't been every day) before I saw this warning. Whoops.
