I last nursed LO last Sunday. Prior to that, we were only nursing once every other day.
I haven't had any engorgement, leaking..
Is it really over? I was so afraid of blocked ducts or mastitis from weaning (I'm very prone!) - this almost seems too easy!

I was nursing once a day when he weaned and I had no issues at all with engorgement or leaking. I assume that my supply had already been really low and that I just dried up.

i was nursing before bed only when i weaned and i had no engorgement or leaking for a week, then i got a clogged duct! it was so weird. so i massaged it out in the shower and then it was fine again. it was much easier than i thought too.

I had no issues stopping. I was down to just nursing her at night, and for a week I just decreased the time each night. I had some engorgement pain for like an hour one night but that was it. Little leaking a couple weeks after but that was it but it was small.

I had no issues weaning either. They got the message right away and just stopped producing.

I had no issues either and we went from 4 sessions to quitting cold turkey. Except, I randomly leaked 3 weeks later, but that only happened once!

I haven't had any issues and I'm well over a month without nursing now. I was down to just mornings. I had absolutely no problems after stopping. I was wondering the same thing as you. Hopefully I'm in the clear now.

Sounds like our experience too! I guess because you weaned pretty slow, you should be fine! Congrats!

I leaked a little bit like a week after I stopped, but I was also pregnant and chalked it up to my body being weird!

I totally think I was dried up...I was dreading weaning and it was no big deal! I'm already leaking though for this next one...sheesh!

I just quit at 28 months, and had a similar experience breast wise. What I've experienced is a really crummy hormonal crash - depression, headaches, nausea. I've dealt with it three or four other times when we decreased in frequency. But no engorgement or pain.

I didn't have any issues with weaning either. We did it gradually over almost 2 months.
