a "surprise" or actively sought BFP?
Like many others, I am trying to really enjoy NTNP and not get wrapped up in using OPKs like our TTC DS journey.
It goes against my A-type nature, but ideally we'd like a BFP this summer, so my patience has room to enjoy the NTNP phase.
J/w how many ppl got BFPs while NTNP #2 and beyond!

Surprise. Complete and total surprise. But I realized quickly that it was a welcome surprise and was devastated when I miscarried.

Following because we are on the same exact timeline 
I'm so type A that I want to plan everything out, but honestly I want to have a BFP in June/July/August rather than now. I'm trying to enjoy this new time (well the start which will be after AF stops.)

Not actively sought. My periods are irregular so I wanted to chart for a few months to track any trends. BFP was after my first cycle off BCP.

We were NTNP and got a 
, so it wasn't really a surprise since we knew it was possible but it was still shocking, ha! We found out a few weeks after DS turned 1.

We were trying, but we weren't charting or using OPKs... Or really doing much else but having sex. I can't say it was completely loosey-goosey though, because I was paying attention to the calendar and somewhat watching CM.

NTNP - surprise. I had actually hoped we didn't get pregnant that month, and was ready to prevent for a couple months!!

Surprise! I guess it would be considered NTNP but I was kind of preventing...or trying to. Oh well, I'm so glad now that it worked out the way that it did!

100% a surprise. We weren't even NTNP. it was scary at first, but a great thing after it sank in lol

We are still working on it over here but it definitely won't be a surprise this time. No way no how. It'll be more like "it's about damn time!" And maybe the surprise will come from being so used to seeing BFNs at this point.

After our second loss we were NTNP (well trying but nothing timed, no charts etc) and got what was a surprise BFP to us!

We decided to start trying but didn't actually DTD more than twice that month. I got my BFP the following month, and I was kind of sad that I wasn't able to enjoy the process of trying to conceive. My first was a happy accident.
