Nine and a half months postpartum and we FINALLY had sex tonight. I feel like a huge weight has been lifted and like there's a light at the end of a dark, painful tunnel. I really wondered if I'd ever find sex bearable again. Two doctors visits, scar tissue removal, estrogen, and almost ten months was all it took. DH called today the best day of his life.

@Corduroy: omg you just gave me hope! I'm 7 months pp and am supposed to be rubbing the stupid estrogen cream on my scar tissue every other night, ugh
how was the tissue removal? I might need that done too and I'm scared! Congrats!

@cmomma17: The scar tissue removal wasn't bad (little pain, little blood and I didn't see it) but I rather inexplicably passed out right afterwards. I tend to do that though. I hope things go well for you.
@NurseMommy: I am BFing. My doctor(s) said it was fine for breastfeeding moms because it's applied locally and it's a low dose.

@NurseMommy: I didn't use the Premarin cream after reading the pamphlet it came with but that's just me!@cmomma17: I had scar tissue removal as well and it was worth it. Numbing shots were the worst of it.@Corduroy: woohoo!!

@Corduroy: @scg00387: tell me more about this scar tissue removal...we are 19 months post and still painful 'tearing' sensation with blood each time we try. I tell my husband it's like the first time and not in a good way

@lizzywiz: Have you been in to see your OB at all? Mine was granuloma; bright cherry pink tissue that was visible externally but also was internal. My OB did an in-office procedure where I was locally numbed, it was sliced off, and then burned with silver nitrate. I felt 100X better the very next day, no recovery time.
