I'm new to daycares so maybe this is just what they do but I was flabbergasted by this on the toddler's supply sheet:
Sippy cups - minimum of 3, one each for am & pm snack and one for lunch. We are not allowed to refill cups once they have been used.
What the what?! I am in Long Island, the director said it was a New York State law, any NY bees experience this?

@MamaChin: Not unusual. We have to do that as well. Basically it holds the parent responsible for the preparation of the bottle so there is no liability for the daycare.
Get the dishwasher ready!

Nope, never heard of it. I don't bring cups in anymore ever since she stopped bottles.

Our school doesn't refill cups, but they provide their own cups. We had to bring our own bottles but once she was on sippies it was all on the school.

LO is 19 month so he doesn't use bottles either, this is for any time he drinks anything. I'm thinking I'll just send him with take and toss straw cups, easiest to clean and cheap to replace.

Is this for formula, bm, milk, water? We had to bring bm/formula in individual bottles/sippies. But they would refill a sippie/cup for WCM/water.
