What was your weirdest middle of the night wake up experience by your child?
The other night, I was woken up by my 4 yo, laying on top of me, hugging me. Asking for some love and for her butterfly blanket. Kinda weird waking up to someone laying on top of you!

I often get woken up in the middle of the night getting head butted. But we co sleep so I shouldn't be surprised.

A few weeks ago, I was woken by E singing. When I went into her room, she was fast asleep.

When DD first started having nightmares, she'd wake up suddenly and cried and said no! no! And then back to sleep.

A fee weeks ago, I heard DD's footsteps/heard her kind of bump into the foot of my bed. She didn't speak or try to rouse me so I ended up falling back asleep. Not long after, I got up not long after to use the bathroom and found on the floor, at the foot of our bed, with her head under the bed and her body sticking straight out lol i just covered her up and left her there.
She's also fallen out of her cot at my moms house, yelled woah! But never actually woke up.

My ILs like to tell this story of my DH where he would creep into their room as a small child (4-5 years old) and would just stand by the side of the bed and silently stare at them, waiting for them to wake up. So they would wake up in the middle of the night with their son just staring at them in the dark!

One time K woke up in the middle of the night crying so hard! I ran to his room and he asked me if he could be Spiderman for halloween, I said yes, he asked if it would be halloween when he woke up (it was summer time), I said no, then he cried some more and went back to sleep. I figured he had a dream he didn't want to wake up from!
