@Ree723: I agree! Babycenter is like a nightmare to me and HB is so much nicer. I feel like people are more educated about their opinions and advice here, too!

Yes, I still go over there and skim occasionally. I only randomly post anything over there anymore though. (not that I was ever a huge poster)

I was. I still read the blogs, and then go read GOMI. I stopped board-posting (except aug'12 threads) after getting pregnant.
They got rid of the mrs.bee bride recently. Now it just looks dumb

I found it through google and had an acct but I barely used it. I just wasnt so into it I guess! I feel like Hb is much less judgmental, more supportive etc. I keep learning SO much from you ladies here!

@MrsTiz: what'd you do?! i was a regular member, but once R was born, it was so much easier to keep track to one board. I popped into my january mommas thread to tell them to come over (and i think some of us were on both) but HB is home now.

I was from 2008-2012. Once I had my son, I switched over here completely. I was only posting in the nesting threads at that point anyways. I never go back. I feel too old for wedding drama at this point.

I was. I go over there occasionally to have pictures deleted (still need to finish doing that). I check into the reading/books board for suggestions. I'm really sad over how snarky it's become over there.

Yes, but never really active on the boards until the spring '12 babies thread. I was more into the blogs over there. I pop in maybe once a month to see if there are any updates on the blogs from a blogger I liked.

I read the blog way back when I was planning my wedding (2006-07), but was never active on the boards.

I joined during my wedding planning in 2010-2011 and read some threads when I was TTC. However, I am so glad I am over here and since I joined HB, haven't been back to WB.

I didn't do anything bad, per say, but I just wasn't very nice ha! The hive mentality is out of control over there and if you don't share the same opinion as everyone else you get attacked. There was one particular user over there that was a complete biaatch to me and she was BFF with a few hostesses, so she would blatantly attack me and I would reply and get my comment moderated or removed while hers stayed put and everyone else would only read her side so they all ganged up on me.
Anyway, I got blocked. That user is still very active on the boards and I have no desire to go back there. Too many catty, ignorant, self entitled rich girls. "Is this 9 carat ring too small for my size 3 finger??" GAG.
I don't think I can ever go to another forum site now, I've been spoiled by the close knit group of HB ladies!

I was but I hardly ever posted on the boards. I just enjoyed reading the blogs and commenting on them. I don't like to comment as anonymous so, I had a username.

I was for a long time. I outgrew it after my wedding and came to Hellobee way before we were even ready for a baby! I love the community here even more than Weddingbee, but its nice that there are some familiar faces.
@mrbee: I admit to reading (never posting) GOMI every once and a great while... Of course, I always feel yucky afterwards! But I don't think anyone has ever said anything about you or Mrs. Bee on there? If they have, we're going to have to have a board war!

I read the blog obsessively while planning my wedding, and then up through when the Bees who got married around the same time as I did went through their recaps. But then I stopped. And I never really was too active on the boards. Sounds like I didn't miss much! Eek.

I was and it was nutz! I mean, I loved it and was totally addicted. But the intolerance for anyone else's opinion on the boards mentality really wore on me. I found myself caught up in drama sometimes then felt really embarrased about it afterwards. Also, I hated that I was using it to plan my wedding and it started shifting to a baby site (for a while, I think it went through phases) so I promised myself that when I was ready to move on to that phase I would move on from the site - and I did!
I still stalk the ring boards though - jewelry is my favorite thing in the world (other than my family and DH of course) so I LOVE looking at it and that will never get old!

@moderndaisy: couldn't agree more! I was a lurker on WB for a long while and I never created an account or posted because the drama was outrageous sometimes..It was so annoying how people could not tolerate anyone else's opinion if it were different from their own. Also, everyone would get SO offended SO easily!

I was! I found it at the tail end/crunch time of planning my wedding when I had a thousand questions to Google. It was a lifesaver.
We TTC right after the wedding and I was on the baby board there, then heard about HB and have been here ever since
